No one has ever seen it, but on her left thigh, she bears a disfiguring area of skin that is black and hard to the touch, the sign of her pact with the Dark.
History: Aylin is from Earth, having grown up in a strict Catholic family. When she was nineteen, however, she discovered the Pagan path, and turned from a single God to many. She discarded her Catholic name and took the name Aylin (meaning 'moon halo') in honor of the goddess she believed to be her patron, Artemis. Shortly after turning twenty-three, there was a shooting on the street; she was hit by a stray bullet, and died.
When she found herself in Etheria, she remembered nothing. Somehow, however, the name Artemis remained in her subconscious, and thus, she claimed it as her own. Though she greatly enjoys looking at the full moon and it's other light phases, she has become fascinated by the dark of the moon. Thus, she began to study the art of controlling the darkness.
