Eliya ~
Even as Eliya's lightning struck the Orc, Emane was quickly lunging towards him, instantly taking the advantage that had been given her. Slash, cut, slash -- surprisingly quickly it was over. The redhead let out the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. The last bandit was dead. They had succeeded, and now they could leave. Eliya could return to her quarters at the Arcane University and take a hot bath, read a book, and sleep for twelve hours. The Altmer's entire body relaxed finally, for the first time in what seemed like hours upon hours. In reality they had probably only been in the ayleid ruin for a little over and hour, maybe two tops.
Eliya lowered her hands, realizing she was still holding them up. She met Emane's eyes and nodded with a new found respect that held no lingering grudging attitude from earlier in the day. As Emane bent over to go through the dead Orc's pockets, Eliya reached down and picked up the daggers she had dropped moments before. She glanced at her twin daggers as she sheathed them -- they would need much love and tlc when she had time. Her green eyes caught Mora lowering her bow, it was good to know that the Bosmer had been prepared to loose an arrow if necessary. The three women had worked surprisingly well together. Once Shinji had....Eliya nodded without speaking when Mora spoke aloud, thinking Emane was probably thinking the same thing.
They all wanted to get out of the violent blood soaked ruin as soon as possible. "Why don't you two go get Shinji and I'll check the area for any valuables. We can meet outside the entrance." Even as she spoke, Eliya knelt down to check the body nearest her. Part of her wondered if either of the other women would think her callous, or simply in a hurry. Obviously they were going to be rewarded in gold when they returned to their client, but passing up loot that they had worked hard for was out of the question in Eliya's mind. Companion death or no. She could be sensitive to how the others felt about the boy's death, but she would shed no tears. If Mora didn't want to look for loot, then the Altmer would do it for her.
Eliya's respect for both women had grown enough that she had no intention of cheating them out of their share of loot. Not that she would have done that necessarily, she was no thief, she had no skill at pick-pocketing. That being said however, there were definitely times in which she chose to do so. Only however when she was 100% sure she wasn't going to be caught, or she was simply that desperate. Generally speaking she preferred to think of herself as relatively honest, if not a bit cloaked in shadows. Funny that a murderer has morals... Instead of arguing with the internal voice like she often did, she simply shrugged instead.
