Okay. I have a few in mind.
Deus Ex Machinma: Steampunk/Alternate history/Military. A variant of our 1776 C.E. is coming about. Battles take to the land, sea, and air with steampowered devices. The American colonies are revolting against the powers that govern them.
Dead Men Tell No Tales: Horror/Suspense. A British family take a vacation to the lovely Caribbean. They uncover some family history about themselves while on Jamaica. That's when things get eerie. They are constantly attacked by the enraged spirit of Captain Armando DiMercurio, an Italian pirate who was sentenced to death by the British government in Jamaica (the family's ancestor being the king's representitive).
HellSpace: Human explorers to a distant, barren planet awaken a most ancient evil. The forces of extraterrestrial Angels and the military of mankind must push back an infectous, chaotic horde of monter back to whence they came before the universe is swallowed by evil.

I'm not so sure I care for Hellspace, but the other two sounded quite interesting- especially the alternate history taking place in 1776, since that is such a pivitol point in history. Good luck researching something like that. Although they're fun to read, I don't think I would post my ideas online... they have a knack for getting stolen. I suppose your basic summaries are so simple, a number of different stories could be derived from them, but still... you don't want that kind of competition.
