Bai Mei looked over toward Luo Lang when the man said that they had done enough. He had a moment where he was about to ask if he was sure there was nothing else they could do... but then again he was here to play with Song Tzue, not cook and clean all day he reminded himself. He turned his attention to his friend, giving her a smile, "Shall we?" He asked of her.

Before he could even turn back to the cook to thank him again for the lessons the man was already gone, back to work once more. He was a very busy man, reminding Bai Mei a bit of his Father. His Father... he found himself wondering how long they had been in here cooking, eating, and cleaning since he knew that his Father was going to be coming for him soon enough. He was sure that someone would surely tell him if his Father arrived though, right? He agreed with that thought mentally before he moved over to his friend's side.

"Thank you for this, it was really nice of you to introduce me to him, Song Tzue." He said, giving her a bright smile. That she would do something so kind, something she might not completely enjoy for him, it meant a lot to the yellow eyed boy.

Song Tzue was already waiting at the doorway to leave the bustling kitchen. She grinned back at Bai Mei as she fiddled with her hair. “I’m glad you enjoyed it. You can come and cook with him anytime I’m sure.” The more time Bai Mei was over cooking meant the more time she could spend with him; she wouldn’t mind hanging around the kitchen if he was there.

“Come on…” She ushered him out into the hallway, mind already filled with the next thing they could do, but by they were met there by the maid. As if summoned by Bai Mei’s thought, she made a gesture of respect to the two and then addressed Bai Mei. “Your father has arrived to pick you up.”

Song Tzue crossed her arms over her chest and sighed. What a shame. She’d been hoping to have more time, but the cooking had taken a bit, with all that chopping

Bai Mei gave a smile as they left the kitchen, "It would be fun to come cook again, its always more fun learning with someone else." First learning with Qiu Shui where he lived and now learning with Song Tzue here, it made it fun and made him want to learn that much more so that he could in the future cook for his friends.

The two of them were barely into the hall when a woman appeared, coming over to tell them that Jing Lin was here for him and his eyes went a little wide, "Wow... already?" He asked, then gave a nod as he looked over at Song Tzue, "I didn't think his business would be concluded so fast." He murmured, then gave her a smile, "It was fun though, maybe next time you can come visit me at my place? Its not nearly as grand as yours but I would love to have you over." He told her. It would be quite exciting to have her over.

He looked around for a moment, seeming to be trying to figure out exactly where it was that they were located before recalling he wasn't quite sure, "I need to go back to your room real fast to get my bag before I go to join my Father." He said, not sure exactly where her room was and didn't want to risk getting lost in his attempts to find it. Going there with Song Tzue would also give him a little bit more time in her company before he had to head out.

“Maybe he was missing you.” Song Tzue suggested with a smile. She certainly would have finished business up pretty quickly if the positions had been reversed. “I will come to your place soon, I promise. Bai Mei, you could live in a hole in the ground and I would still come along.” She told him with a grin before motioning the aid over and whispering in her ear. The maid smiled and disappeared into the kitchen.

The pine child nodded when he mentioned getting his bag and started to lead the way. She was going to stick by him until he was out the gate and walking off down the road; it wasn’t like she’d just leave him to figure out his own way through the house.

After a few twists and turns they reached her room and she opened the door, standing aside to let him in and once he had collected the bag shut it behind them both. “Alright… I’m sure they invited him inside, so he’s probably in one of the sitting rooms.” Song Tzue would deliver him over to his father but only after a hug. She embraced her friend, giving him a happy squeeze.

“I had fun. I’ll see you again soon.”

Once she was satisfied she pulled away, smiled at Bai Mei and turned to lead him off down the hall to his father.

They went to Song Tzue's room to fetch his bag, and placed the egg safely within it, and the two of them were soon on their way to where Jing Lin was waiting for them. He was glad to see his Father again though he would be sad to leave Song Tzue's company, he always enjoyed being around her, "I had a lot of fun too!" He said in a happy manner returning the hug that she gave him, eyes sinking closed for a moment. He was just now getting ready to go but he was already looking forward to the next time that they were able to hang out together. Next time though they would need to do something that Song Tzue enjoyed he thought to himself.

It didn't take long before they reached the room that Jing Lin was waiting in and Bai Mei gave him a bright smile, hurrying over to him, "Hello!" He greeted him, eager to tell him about all that he'd done today with his friend.

Jing Lin looked down at his son, giving him a smile, then looked over at Song Tzue, "Thank you for playing with Bai Mei today." He told her, giving her a smile. That she had spent so much time with him, even invited him into her home, made him like her that much more. She was a good sort and that she was able to ignore all the rumors that swirled around their family only made it that much better.

"Can she come over and play soon, Father, please?" Bai Mei asked of him, lifting a hand to rest it against his Father's arm.

The man looked down at him, smiling at him before giving a nod, "I don't see why not." He said, looking over at the green haired girl, "Your always welcome at our place so feel free to drop by whenever you'd like." He said, before he wrapped Bai Mei in the thick, warm robe he was wearing to help to keep him and the egg he always carried with him warm, "Its still raining a bit so we will need to hurry up and get home before it gets any worse."

"Alright Father." He said, giving a smile before turning to look at his friend, "Thanks again for today, Song Tzue, see you again soon!" He said, giving a way before he took one of his Father's hands in his and was being led on his way toward home.
