Still following after the odd male, Samantha couldn't help but muse on how interesting her life had gotten all of a sudden. Well, she was no longer alone, and it was no longer boring. She couldn't complain. Deciding at last to interrupt the rambling male, she called out, "Taron? Just where is this friend of yours? I'm not sensing anyone in the area right now."

Taron stopped what he'd been saying, paused, then sniffed the air while listening carefully. His ears twisted from side to side, trying to zero in on his friend, Aurora. "Hmm...not sure exactly. We split up with the agreement to meet up again at the end of day's light. Thought we'd cover more ground, without splitting up for good, of course."
Nodding, Samantha agreed that that made sense. Silently, she started searching as well, her tongue extending from her mouth to rest on the ground. She analyzed the gentle vibrations that traveled through the earth, searching for something vaguely Krokotas-like, other than herself and Taron. His friend had to be around here somewhere. As much as he talked about her, she had to be close by.

Useless, this search had utterly been useless, aside from getting her fur dirty once more. Shaking her self she attempted to get the sticky dirt from her pure fur. That bath earlier seemed to have done no good. The light was heading beyond its horizon and it was soon time to look for Taron. Bath first, she couldn't let this dirt remain. Re tracing her steps she found her way back to the spot she had met Taron earlier for a bath. Taking a few steps into the waters she began to bath once again washing the evil substance from her fur.

Ears twitching at the rippling waters nearby, Samantha listened carefully, paying close attention to the faint vibrations she was picking up from some distance. "There's someone just downstream," she commented, refocusing on Taron.
"That must be Aurora! We were supposed to meet up again near here," Taron exclaimed enthusiastically, bounding off in that direction momentarily, then remembering he wasn't alone, paused and looked back with a sheepish grin. "Well, let's go!"
Samantha chuckled softly, shaking her head and following after the male. Of course, it wasn't necessarily his friend, but she just couldn't bring herself to disappoint the happy male. Besides, what was the chance of a second attack by roving wolves in the same day? Not likely, yes, but possible, so Samantha didn't quite relax her senses as they traveled.
After a while, the vibrations failed to get any stronger, however, Samantha's keen ears picked up the noise of something splashing lightly in the water. Ah, whatever it was must be in the river now, but was definitely much closer. Taron had bounded ahead of her, and now called out, "Aurora! Hey, Aurora! Guess what?"
Gee, hope that was Aurora up there in the water.

Stopping in the midst of her bath the white female turned her head towards Taron's voice. She was having a hard time getting the dirt off. "I do hope you had better luck then I did," She commented. "All I found was some empty space followed by a mud puddle. Now look at my fur now!" she exclaimed. Of course she was exaggerating about the mud puddle. All it was, was a small bit of dirt nothing more. She hardly noticed the other with Taron more focused on cleaning her fur.

Oh great spirits, not another one. Samantha made a face momentarily, then hid her expression quickly. Now, now, she lectured herself, be nice. She continued at an even pace, closing the distance, as Taron raced up ahead to help Aurora.
"Aww...I'm sorry," he pouted, closing in and wondering if he could help Aurora get clean, or if she'd rather do so herself. "I did though! I found someone! She's strong too, and a hunter! There were these wolves, see, and they showed up to try and take her kill, and..." he continued rambling, eventually spilling out the story of both Samantha's hunt and of their ensuing battle with the wolves. "I got all muddy though," he shivered in memory, "and she showed me to a place so I could get cleaned up." He nodded matter-of-factly at this, then added, "She said we could all travel together. So that's one more, right?"

With one flick of her paw she splashed him with a bit of water, flinging a bit mud with it. "Yes you're right, one more is better then finding no one." Her violet eyes moved up towards the other heat source, Samantha's heat source. "How do you do,"

"Ack!" Taron lifted and shook the paw that Aurora had splattered mud upon, immediately splashing away to deeper water to get clean.
Samantha chuckled a bit, shaking her head before turning to the other female. "Quite well, I suppose," she answered, nodding. "Pleasure to meet you...Aurora, I believe Taron said your name was?" Quite relaxed, despite meeting new faces, Samantha agreed with the female's earlier statement. "Indeed, new friends are always welcome. I do appreciate Taron coming to my aid as well. I'd be glad to help you two out in any way I can."

"Correct, Its Aurora," she answered back. "That's what friends are for, helping each other out when needed." Aurora replied back. "Though as long as we don't get muddy doing it I'm all for helping out."
