I'm not sure what happened but everyone was leaving Poll Central. I left as well and ended up being invited to another poll guild right after I left. Some sort of disagreement is all I know.

I'm thinking it must have had something to do with Kess and his weird excentricities (sp?) because he likes to do weird things for attention, like change the guild name, post skulls and GO AWAY notices everywhere, change the guild owner at a simple whim, and lots of things which upset people. I know when he brought in a new real life friend to the guild and made her a new guild captain after only a few days, of course ML took it personally because she herself had been caring for and handling the guild for the entire summer Kess was away. And then before christmas, he changed the guild name to S-Corp, which is the name of the gaia admin made guild where the elves and mrs. claus kept their journals. This upset gaia administrators. I'm assuming something similar happened to get it officially closed down like that, but I wasn't around to see what it was because ever since he decorated with Skulls and GO AWAY signs, and I made the comment that if his goal was to turn people away, then go him *shrug*, and he abused his powers and EDITED my post and CHANGED it into some offensive sick baby murdering set of jokes, that was it. I didn't come back since, but I didn't want to leave yet because I had invested so much time and effort there and had myself over 500 posts in the guild. Then last week, I think, I decided to just leave once and for all, when I clicked to go there, it told me it was disabled by a gaia moderator, and gave me the option to leave, so I did!

wow! I knew you said Kess did something to you that made you upset but i didn't know what it was! I'm so sorry! Of course I never got into the politics of that guild anyway. I always just went straight to the last page and polled from there ... never even bothering to look at my choices either ... and I just check quest haven and yep...once you stopped making polls (and me...i did a couple before lol) there aren't any more current ones> Kinda sad. BUT! I'm motivated to make some more eventually...just not this weekend I'm working all weekend and finalizing a place for the reception.

Not trying to gain attention or anything, but ML was not alone handling the guild. I was there just as much as she was right after Kess left. When DG and ML started fighting, I started detaching myself. It took a while for me to officially leave, but I did. I was sooooo grateful too. I heard a lot of the members did lose their accounts. Now this was just rumor, but I wouldn't doubt it.
