~*Day One Hundred and One*~
Emily, Myguel, Kileria, and Kilere had moved into a small apartment. Shortly after that, though, Myguel had another 'growth spurt' and became even older. Slightly irritated, Emily moved again. Only to an actual house.
"This will be your last growth?" Emily asked the boy, who now stood several inches above her. He wrapped his large wings around her, Kileria sitting proudly on his shoulder.
"I hope so." He said warmly, and she had to smile. He wasn't the troublesome little boy he had started out to be. They had gotten everything settled. The two had gone out to buy new beds, and even Kileria and Kilere got one. Kileria's was at the end of Myguel's bed, and Kilere's was next to Emily's bed. The house was beautiful, a nice porch overlooking the forest in Grim's room, and Myguel had a window overlooking a pretty lake on the other side.
"Perfect settings for a writer." Emily had concluded while picking out the house.
"And you don't have to pay for me to go to school!" Myguel tried to sound happy, but there was a single note in his voice that sounded sad. But it wasn't long before they had the whole house memorized.
"Now it's time to explore the town!" The town was several miles away, and Emily was happy she had bought a car.
