haven't done this in a while, but this year has seen some good progress in the guild. i believe this should be rewarded. to those that have kept the guild afloat, this is for you. the crew has nominated people in each category, and i would like your votes on the matter. winners of each category will each get a special reward. all votes should be sent to me in a pm, and do try to participate folks. i will provide links for the match of the year candidates

Best Wrestler:
Cartwright
Brandon Damone
Matt Draven
Draze
Snypa Rifle

Best Newcomer to XCW:
Kid Omega
Michael Farris
Joey Desch
Matt Draven

Best Feud:
Draze vs Cartwright-this feud kicked off when the XCW Undisputed championship was vacated due to the sudden departure of reigning champion Robert Orman, and Cartwright and Draze squared off to determine the new champion. Cartwright picked up the first win, prompting Draze to continue to challenge him and finally pick up his first XCW Undisputed championship reign. Cartwright won the next encounter in a weapons filled chamber match, but lost the title immediately after due to Draze invoking his rematch clause and blindsiding him. Cartwright, per match stipulations, was forced into retirement. When Draze came out to ruin cartwright's retirement promo, the owner dropped a bombshell, stating that the contract for the ppv was for one match only, and per the fine print, Cartwright had fulfilled his obligation to win the championship, and therefore would not be retiring. Cartwright was then granted a rematch inside three stages of hell, and concluded this rivalry with a win inside pandora's box as the last stage to win the championship

Robert Orman vs the Undertaker -this feud kicked off when the Phenom returned to challenge new XCW Undisputed champion, Cartwright. Add in Draze, and a triple threat was made. The Undertaker took a double team beating, but in the end fought back, and was on the cusp of regaining the championship he'd held longer than anyone, the title he'd been the first holder of by merging the XCW championship with the world heavyweight championship. All of a sudden, former XCW Undisputed champion Robert Orman returned and cost the Phenom the championship. The anger of the Phenom carried this on to a match, in which Orman got the surprise win, but at a heavy price as he was chokeslammed off the stage. the xtreme rules rematch gave the Phenom the win after two tombstone piledrivers. Orman wasn't finished yet, as he cost the Phenom the XCW Television championship in a match with Zarel Damone. The Phenom, in turn, beat the hell out of Orman in a rematch with Zarel, in which Zarel was caught in the crossfire. In a triple threat, the Undertaker cost Orman the Television title, choosing not to win it himself but giving the belt to Michael Farris, returning the favor for Orman's initial interference costing Taker the Undisputed championship

Zarel Damone vs Snypa-this came over the Television title, when Zarel utilized the 24/7 rules to capture the championship from Snypa, resulting in several rematches survived by Zarel, who kept the championship for the better part of the year

Snypa vs Cartwright-this rivalry transcends XCW, having raged through EEW and several other federations. The fabled streak Snypa has over Cartwright is unmatched even by the innovator of kicking the crap out of Cartwright, and Snypa extended it here in XCW as he wrested the XCW Undisputed championship from the Talented One, ending Cartwright's third championship reign

Brandon Damone vs Angel-Angel kicked this off as he, like so many before him, attempted to make his markin XCW by picking off a Damone, in this case, the youngest of the three brothers, Brandon. Brandon was the reigning XCW Intercontinental champion, and Angel wanted the gold. He earned his shot through underhanded means, using brass knucks to knock an unsuspecting Brandon out. A war of words ensued, and the physical war began when Brandon defended the Intercontinental championship is his older brother's specialty, hell in a cell. In his quest to prove himself a true champion and negate Angel's claims that he was champion only because his brother owned the company, Brandon Damone demolished Angel in a brutal hell in a cell contest concluded by a Damone Drop from the cell roof. Angel, however, would not be denied. As Brandon defended his championship against Creeker, Angel came in and stole the belt, claiming he would now cleanse the belt of the Damone name and attempting to create his own championship. the match was made, and in an xtreme rules ironman match, Brandon Damone picked up another win, keeping the XCW Intercontinental championship intact and proving himself a true and deserving champion, and sending Angel out of XCW as he hasn't been seen since.

Lita vs Ken Armand-this rivalry kicked off when Ken Armand interfered in Lita's title match with Janelle, attacking both women to end it in a no contest. Ken then targeted Lita, wanting to gain the XCW Cruiser championship. He convinced Jarel to allow him to wear the SEWF Cruiserweight championship belt, recognizing it as a championship. He picked up a nontitle victory over Lita and earned a title unification match. Unfortunately, at Highway to Hell, Lita picked up the win to unify the belts

only one set of votes so far. it would benefit others to vote as well. here's a hint, the prize for winners are potentially title shots. lets see if that motivates anyone now

ok, it's moving along, just got another set. this voting will end at the ppv folks, which is no more than two weeks away, max. and depending on how many matches end before that, it'll be a lot less. i want this guild moving at a fast pace, and my least active people will not be happy with the ppv card, as they won't get a match until i get a request from them for one

i've gotten more votes, but we have come to the problem of a tie in two categories. match of the year and best wrestler have two nominees that are tied in voting. who's going to break the tie to decide the winner.

also, at All Hell's Eve, I'll do an actually ceremony type thing to announce the winners, and give you time to make speeches, and possibly start some feuds up

Because we all know that Chrono and Yuke are tag team of the year, there's no need to nominate anyone else. *nods*

so true. that's the reason i didn''t bother trying to put people in. only other tag we had this year was through the pain and i think the self proclaimed unstoppable ones were here at the beginning of the year, but they disappeared. either way, yuke and chrono are my dominating tag champs

*drum roll*
Shame I don't feel like I earned it during my inactive stints. Guess I'm gonna have to set Draze's team on fire, and demolish Omega and Draze in the next match.. twisted

assuming Draze and Omega make it to that match. I'm not sure which plan Kid is going with yet

either way, you've got a couple records you've set. so far, you're the longest reigning tag champions in history, and the first husband & wife tag champs.
