No, my computer is still very dead, but I have come back with my manly fingers that are just so boss with an iPod touchpad (ie- sorry if there are spelling mistakes.) anyway, just postin' to see where you all are at. For me, my life has been reduced to judo (possible black belt in January, I AM A BOSSSSSS!) orchestra practice, rigourous Dragon Quest IX legacy boss bossing (I just got the Dragonlord map, the gong rung at the start of the battle adds quite an interesting "ring" to the song) and tearin' up the city in search for a job. Anyway, I'll try to post moar even if my iPod is too wuss to take my thumbs and I make more spelling mistakes than a- than a- something that makes bad spelling mistakes.
On a final note: I just learned DQIX is language changable and I liked that in the Français mix, literally everyone's names are completely changed 110% except for Stella. xD although I do prefer "l'Orion Express" to the "Starlight Express" or even "Klenfer l'Empire" but I did lulz at Sterling's name out of everyone's translated name the most (Aster) anyway, with my Français rant outta the way, how goes it, o quiet guild? Anyone else legacy boss hunting as well?

This Guild makes me look like a crazy person, because I keep talking to myself. I've been Legacy Boss-ing myself. Freaking Baramos won't drop Murdaw's map, although everything I've heard about it suggests that he should have started dropping it at this point. How is it possible that I can get a Silver Orb, but no map? Although I've been playing a bit less DQIX lately. I'm replaying The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (my second favorite in the series, WW being my first), as well as vigorously riffing on another game with Marcello. But back on the subject of Dragon Quest, there is an art contest on Deviantart's DQ group that has just started, and it currently recruiting. It involves participants being separated into groups that must produce a collaborative work which will be judged by the admins. In fact, I'm the one who pitched the idea! So if any of you are artists, why not give it a peak? Here's a link.

I'm sorry, Roto I really wish I could do my usual recruiting it bugs me being on my iPod not being able to do anything. D: But on another note: http://www.woodus.com/den/games/dq9ds/legacy_boss_drops.phpI found that page to be just great when it comes to legacy drops, I take it you got the Aliahan drops? The clothes are fabulous if you don't have the grotto 2% boss drops (I only have the Hero Boots.) D: and don't worry, Legacy Bosses can be stingy, heck, Dhoulmagus held on to his Trodain Bandana to dear life for me and I got four Purple Orbs in the process. D: Zelda-wise, Link to the Past is my all time favourite. <3 all the nostalgia and side quests ans stuff. I should take a look at the site while I be no artist, I did fan art of Hassan (or more or less took his original art and redrew it) and I was quite pleased with the results. My major art project I'm working on is making art (although not original pieces of mine more or less taking other pieces and doing slight editing I'll have to include credits) for an FF (I) LP I'm planning on starting that has notible characters like Paulo and Maji. : D Anyway, sorry if I typed lots, I have the tendecy to do that when I'm on my iPod. D:

Don't worry about it, Hassan. Do stuff when you can.
I've done a bit of recruiting myself, not all of them have joined. But It's still sort of quiet around here, and I don't want to RP or do contests unless there are people here to receive them. I've hit a rough spot in life again (Not bad, just time-consuming), but I will still post threads and such when I can.
And yes, the Aliahan items are love. I have three pairs of boots, and three sets of clothing (I actually sold one). It's awful that I can't fight Zoma, but what makes it worse is that the rest of the Aliahan drops are with him! gonk
That link has given me some perspective, though. Thank you very much.
I compensate by giving my hero Edrick's Helmet and Shield in addition the the Aliahan stuff I have.
That's great, since I can't sprite or edit, and I think I've said before that I'm awful at digital stuff. I've got some DQ stuff that I haven't uploaded, doodles and stuff. I was thinking of posting them in a doddle collage once I accumulate enough of them.
I'd love to see your FF LP stuff. Send me links to your works when you can.
And don't worry. I type a lot too.

That's the problem with guilds, most people just post in the VGD or elsewhere (which is why I'm thinking of making of of dem' "Official Dragon Quest Threads" in the VGD when I get a new computer which will have advertising of the guild of course.) With that being said, I'll have to learn to deal with haters who plauge the VGD on anything that is "overrated" which nine times outta ten isn't and not being able to just troll them like I usually do out of risk of making the guild look like a mini /b/ I'll have to actually argue if such is the case gonk
But with that outta the way, I only have one of each Aliahan drop, I have terrible luck when it comes to drops in any RPG (FFIII- it took me forever to get the rare drops D: ) and the Alefgard drops look like a plastic child armour to the Roto gear but the armour is magnificent.
We should make an artist's corner in this guild, you're into art and I dabble a little in it, I think it would be thriving! And about my FF LP, of course Maji will be the hero of the story, I'm also thinking of doing a Saji spinoff where he is the Decendant of Erdrick, needless to say my days have been dedicated to thinking of fun ideas of how to pimp these Talis children out! So far, I have Maji as the all brawn no brain sort of guy, Paulo (A.K.A Taloon's son) as the adventurous kid who sort of got caught in the middle of everything, Blue (a character from a game I love called SaGa Frontier) as the snooty healer who is stingy with supplies and Luc (from a game called Genso Suikoden) as the emo character. xD then if I get to spin offs Saji will be the younger, smarter Lisa Simpson of a sibling and Barts will be the creepy neibourhood friend with creepy admiration for Maji. Then of course the good ol' Idiot Squad should be factored in there as well as Thomas due to my conspirasy of him being Zagaro/Sedgar's little broher as well as Roshe being Wolf's brother. I'll have to show you some pictures when I get my scanner hooked up to an actual computer, I went all out!

I do apologise for my absence, it's a convoluted timeline of anger that all boils down to Estark's Map
However, on the plus side, after spending about £50 in failed attempts, I have figured out how to get Wi-Fi with my DS
Anyway, about the Artist's Corner, that would be quite nice, even though I'd have to wait for THQ to release that Udraw studio, since I can't use Paint, and when it comes to pencils, I'm somewhat catastrophic.

I might be able to help. I'm an absolute dingus when it comes to digital art, but I am learning GIMP, which you can download for free. It's sort of like ghetto photoshop. I'll put something together. Like on DA, art projects are a great way to get the community working. Again, I'm sorry I've been so scarce. Vacation = taking care of all the little cousins, plus unexpected catastrophe. I'll get down time eventually. Meanwhile, I'll concoct some art corner-worthy ideas.

I am very excited for this Art Corner idea, I've been drawing like a crazy artist these last few days, although most of my work is VI (the high point in the series or character art and personality IMO) I hope VI comes NA-soon anyway so people can get my references with my art when I put them up D: but VI seemed to grace my life all this week, from drawing it, finding it had a manga of it (although I didn't really enjoy it), meeting some worker in a Gamestop who played it, then good ol' Muriel gracing me with her presense in The Quester's rest today! Although I'm still not excited for this whole Carver thing that's going to happen, but like what I did with Cord Maji in FE:SD in my head I will always call Hassan, Hassan, hopefully I will make other people think of him as Hassan too. xD

Of course, as your artsy mod, I have taken it upon myself to make an art subforum happen. I've already shot forth 3000 gold from my own pocket for a subforum, so I'll open it up and get some threads going when I don't have to take care of rowdy cousins.
There will be a sticky for rules, of course. But I also have a vision of the guild's artists setting up threads to post their art or links to any websites or DA accounts, which I will keep track of in another sticky for others to see.
I'll encourage visual art as well as written work. Because while most fanfiction sucks, I know there are good ones out there. So I'd like to see if anyone has written or found any that they liked or were proud of.
I'll set up threads for idea pitching, and perhaps even requests.
I'll also move my dusty RP into there, 'cause I haven't given up on it. (Actually, despite what I said in the tier thread the other night, my opinion of IX has been rising significantly, not to say that I didn't adore it before. So if Hassan is active and I can poke Marcello a bit, I can take advantage of this inspiration spell. I'm sorry for being busy and dumb!).
And who knows? Maybe I'll actually do some art soon. I'd love to see any art you have done, Hassan. I've never seen any, and I want to see what you can do.
By the way, where on earth did you find a DQ manga that wasn't Emblem of Roto or Dai no Dobuken?

That would be great if you could set the sub forum up, my thanks, if possible, try to make it along the lines of a DQ/W reference for the sub forum name, don't have to, but it would liven things up! I'll be sure to make my own studio in there once I fix my computer, but keep in mind, I just started drawing like a month or so ago -_-, my goal will be to evoke interest in DQVI, ya, know, just to get people pumped for the DS NA release? Anyway, I'm pretty excited myself to see your work, I can't draw from my mind yet, but it's always great to see an artistic person's work, it gets me inspired and pushes me to try to draw from my mind. And I found the manga from looking in a fan shrine where they showed pictures of it and after a productive time Googling it on my iPod I found a sort of like Mangafox website which had it. I just didn't like it because they seemed to prioritize romance over the story, although, I sort of did have the impression that Barbara had the hots for Botsu (the hero) but Hassan and Muriel? Really?
