I went to the races for the first time this year!
  The Melbourne Cup is literally the race that stops a nation - it's a public holiday in my city and most people interstate stop work to watch the race and often take the afternoon off
  The weather was a bit disappointing (it rained AND I got sunburnt - only in Melbourne!)
  But it was good fun! And everyone dresses really well. :)

It was a beautiful 24oC Spring day today! Absolutely perfect!
I just wish I wasn't stuck in an office building most of the day to enjoy it. sad
