For a lark, today Theissen decided to go off on his own, leaving Eryn safely at home. Today's destination; the park. It was a nice place to play around and blow off steam. Casually, he walked onto the scene, twirling his glow sticks in his hands. He surveyed the place once over, looking for signs of life. He was rather bored and wanted someone to talk to.

Nestling on a patch of grass, Jayden decided to balance his glowstick staff at the center of his paw. Today was quite the slow day.... usually he had someone to show off to, or his girl would stop by and visit him. But lately he became quite distant from the world... his world. Perhaps that was the life of a couple'd man now... The inability to go out and have fun with people who understand his nature. Unable to talk to girls for fear of a jealous girlfriend.... and guys often claimed him of being whip.... It was a complicated life, relationships that is. Sighing, he tossed his glowstick staff high in the air, a bit out of frustration, and maybe the delusion that someone might see it and take him out of his slump.

In the distance Theissen spotted a blue glow rise high in the air and descend again. His ears flicked forward and he listened, but heard nothing. But he could smell, on the other hand, the scent of another cat close by. Eagerly, he headed in that direction. And soon, lo and behold, he ran into a dual color-eyed cat with a giant glow stick. That must have been the light he saw. Happily, he swished his tail and sauntered over to the other gentleman. It would appear they both had an affinity for 'rave-style clothing and gear'. Something in common, he thought. Perhaps a conversation starter.
"Hello," he called out. Greeting the other from a distance as not to startle him. "I couldn't help, but notice your glow stick, your weapon of choice I presume?" He knew full well of all the territorial battles going on. "I like your taste. I myself, use the smaller ones."
Now hopefully the stranger was friendly. Theissen hadn't thought that one over in his head. All he could do was keep his fingers crossed, and hope.

Twitching his hears, Jayden heard a fairly welcomed greeting. Turning his head he looked around, wondering where it came from. However he didn't have to look long. Soon a rather friendly American Short Hair made his way towards him. Grinning, he slid his glowstick behind his back to appear less threatening. "Well...while it could be used as a physical assault weapon, but I'd like to pretend it's a dance weapon.... Yanno...Dance battling against other ravers, show casing our skills and just have fun!" Chuckling, he stood up and held out his hand, "The name's Jayden! I haven't seen you around here before.... Are you new to the area?" he asked curiously, thinking the kid seemed fun and laid back enough.

Theissen gave a sigh of relief. Oh good, he is friendly. "My name is Theissen. Nice to meetcha'." He smiled, walking up to Jayden. "Yeah I love raves. Glow sticks are great for showing off a bit," he chuckled. "The ladies seem to like it." He laughed again. Even though a few girls were after him, he hadn't really chosen anyone. He was single man on the prowl.
"So.... do you hang around here often?" he asked, interested. "I admit, I am a little new still."
