You're doubting a decision to go to an arts school? For the love of Eru WHY? I would give my right arm to have had that kind of opportunity! You are very lucky, and I think you should definatly go to this school. After all, the academics can't be much worse than most public schools xp

There's one art school in my area, and the art programs are pretty good but the academics suck. The private school I'm at right now has wonderful academics and a pretty impressive theatre program, which is why I never thought of switching. Academics are more important to me right now because I want a better chance of getting into a college which will be prominent enough to have a good theatre program ^_^

I've been meaning to try out for the Denver School of the arts since I was about 11, but I never got around to it. By the time I do, I'll most likely be trying out for my Junior year, so I don't see the point anymore.
Besides, my school has a wonderful theatre program, or, it will once all of our junior techs leave. Other than that, I have it pretty good.

Miss_Galinda_Upland_ another problem is leaving my friends.... I had this problem when I decided to transfer to a school with a better theatre department and my dealings with it are this: yes, you will lose touch with a lot of people, it's inevitable. But the people who are your true friends will stick with you no matter what you decide to do. If theatre is your passion, do it. Get your hands on all the art you can, theatre or not, it will help you. I can't offer you any more advice than that.
