Queen Anne had a transvestite cousin, Lord Cornbury, whom she assigned to be governor of New York and New Jersey. The colonists were not amused.

King Henry VII who ironically had all his wives killed or divorced them, that did not birth him a son (excluding Queen Catherine of Aragon and Jane Seymour, who birthed him Edward VI, who was really weak) and after that, no more sons, was hot and attractive as a young man, but later got gout and became too fat. The irony is that his most powerful heir was Queen Elizabeth I, birthed by Anne Boleyn, his second wife, whom he ordered to be executed with a sword, and not his son. (Mary I, half sister of Elizabeth, and daughter of Queen Catherine, I won't count as powerful since she was nicknamed "Bloody Mary" for going on a killing rampage of all non-Catholics).
