I wish it was like when we had those digital pets back in the day. (Mid 90's) Like when I had my old-school Tamagotchi where you could lock the buttons so you didn't feed your pet too much or hit buttons on accident. Cause yeah sometimes I forget that I have it on and next then you know I have a butch of items and Pokemon I don't want. (so many bug Pokemon so many) If Nintendo/Gamefreak continues with this I hope they add some features to it. Like a Lock system, a day or night setting, or a live clock like on the game. That's my own beef with the Pokewalker. Oh and that the stupid back comes off if your jeans are too tight. neutral

I hate it too cause our pockets are small which is why I wear guy jeans a tad more. gonk I don't believe mines is synced to my DS and seems like you get the same Pokemon no matter what time of day.

I accidantally washed BOTH of mine a few weeks ago...they were in a pocket on my cargo pants and I forgot to take them out. crying I tried replacing the battery, but that didn't work, so I have to contact Nintendo, I guess. In Heart Gold I had a Machop, but in Soul Silver, I had the Tyrogue you get from the karate master. So I'm kinda bummed about losing that one.
Also, Miss, the kind of pokemon you get depends on the route and the number of steps, not the time of day! It does have a clock in it, but it doesn't affect anything. There should be a guide to the routes and the pokemon found on each one in the Heart Gold/Soul Silver sub-forum!

Oh and thanks I'll check it out. Still wish it had a lock button and that the clip was made better.

Well, I looked through the guide when it happened and it said something about drying the pokewalker out and maybe replacing the battery. that didn't work for me, though. I haven't tried to access the pokewalker screen since then, though...I might try it.
