A lone girl of about 9 or 10 peeks from around the corner of a building that she had hidden herself with. She looks at the surrounding people with eyes filled with sorrow. Nobody seemed to take notice of this girl in tattered clothing clutching a beat-up old stuffed bear tightly to her chest. The girl, who was shy, wanted to call out to let someone know she was there, but did not wish to draw attention to herself either. So she slid downward, sitting, her back against the wall, still tucked away in the shadows.
"What am I going to do...?" she wondered to herself.
A gentle breeze could be felt even in the alley that she had been in. She looked up, letting the wind caress her face and flow through her hair. She seemed to be an unnatural child, her hair was silver, and her eyes had two different colors to them. Her right eye was a fiery and intense golden color, radiating with the warmth of the sun, and her left eye was a very sad and melancholy blue, filled with the calmness of the sea.
She couldn't lie to herself. She knew she was lost in this world. She felt very out of place, very peculiar. A girl her age wouldn't and shouldn't be able to survive for too long in a world like this, and yet somehow she had managed... Somehow she had lived up to the point where she had run away from those that created her. Those loathsome people which she despised, but could not bring herself to hate.
What is it that she's looking for, though? She doesn't know. She only knows that she must escape, somehow, someway. She must escape the life she's stuck in, and the rut she can't get out of. Getting up with a new resolution, clutching her bear even more tightly, she, still timidly, takes a step out from the shadows and into the light. She brought up an arm to help shield her eyes from the sun and stared off into the distance, wondering which way a girl like her should go. She took a deep breath.

A young girl steadily laced up her high heel shoes. She stood up and brushed off her dress, then pulled on a jacket, hat and gloves. She grabbed her purse and walked out of the building after waving goodbye to her friends. The girl stood out on the sidewalk for a moment, ignoring the glances from the pedestrians. Then she waved down a taxi, the nearest one quickly coming to a stop infront of her. "Hello, miss. Where would you like to go this afternoon?" The taxi driver asked, looking at her from the front mirror. She smiled sweetly and crossed one leg over the other. "The small cafe' down the street." She replied and the taxi started up.
After arriving at the cafe' she thanked the driver and paid him the money. She walked into the cafe' and ordered a tea topped with a bunch of whipped cream and a cinnamon roll. She paid the cashier and left, graciously drinking her tea and walking down the sidewalk.

Slowly, a woman walked along the street, her hair long and jet black. The breeze shuffled the loose strands away from her face, while she flicked a paper in her hands annoyed that she had lost her place on a particular story about the collapse of a building on the north part of town. Her eyes were covered by dark sunglasses because her eyes were uncommonly yellow, that of a strange birthmark when she was a child brought on by some uncommon trait in her blood line.
Irion knew these streets and alleys too well for her own good, she grew up among them. She turned the corner, avoiding the hustle of people in the market while she grabbed a few apples and other bits from a certain stand. The Stand owner looked to her for a moment before smiling and nodding his head to her.
She assisted this particular stand with the shop he rented, because she owned the entire building. For this free rent some months, she was able to grab a few goods during the day.
"This should be a simple day..." She murmered to herself as she pulled the apple from her hip pack. As she looked up however she noticed a tattered looking child with silver hair. She was staring up at the sky and taking a heavy breath. People were simply passing her by, not caring, never noticing. Irion walked up to the child and waited for a moment to be noticed before offering the apple she was going to eat.
"Good morning my dear." She said softly, taking great notice of her eyes, eapecially the yellow one.
