Hey Guild Members,
I hope that you're enjoying the guild so far and please if you have any suggestions or complaints don't be afraid to pm me or contact me in some way shape or form. (Smoke messages are frowned upon though, sorry)
The Uber Big Welcome to the Guild Contest is going on right now, but it's not as active as I was hoping crying So here is my proposition.
I will up all prizes 20k and add prizes for 4th-8th place for each of the following that is completed before the end of November
1. We get 100 guild members (I'll add 20k when we reach 200 or 300 if we get that far as well)
2. We get 20 different people to participate in the contest. (I'll add 20k when we reach 40 or 60 as well. (I bet my crew members are wondering how much reading they'll have to do during Christmas Break . . .))
The Retell me a Story contest is going on right now as well, and there is only one entrant so far . . . so will he win all that gold by default?
(I also have another small contest going up that will last until the end of them month. It's a great chance to earn a little bit of gold.)
Last thing that I need to mention. If you would like to make a donation to the guild please send the trade to me. This way I can use donated money for prizes in contests, not just guild announcements and subforum creations.

Thank you, everyone - We have completed our first Gregorian new year as Where Imagination Becomes Reality. Thus, we may now, in all political correctness, wish everyone their favourite December holiday. So, happy Chanukah, St. Nicolas Day, Sinterklaas, Las Posadas, Festivus, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and New Year, to name a few.
Plans - With the advent of the new year, we would also like to begin the guild's upward ascent into something that all who participate in can be appreciative of as a locale of camaraderie, aid, and safety. Ergo, starting now, and through January and Febuary, we will be hosting a recruitment drive. We ask that members be on the lookout for other Gaia users who would fit the guild. These users might display any of the following attributes: friendliness, interest in writing/ reading/ the arts, or a respectable activity level. So, please invite your friends and acquaintances to join us in the experience that occurs When Imagination Becomes Reality!
Please keep in mind that depending upon how the recruitment drive progresses, we may be awarding gold or item prizes!
New Crew Member - With the expansion of the guild, we are opening another crew slot! Please note that only members who are active will be considered.

Our advertised open crew position has recently been filled by ContrabassClarinetist. Everyone please congratulate her!
The guild has been very active lately, despite having so few members compared to other guilds, which pleases me greatly. Keep up the friendly atmosphere, and perhaps invite a few friends to join - do not forget that prizes will be awarded for users who have done lots of recruiting.
On another note, the school year has begun for many of us, and that means that we likely have writing assignments to complete. If anyone requires help, do not hesitate to post in the Unstickifier forum. Please do not wait until the night before!
The reverse side of this? With these writing assignments, we suddenly have more work to show off. Have pride in your work, and show it off!
A toast to the new year, and may it be a wonderful one to all.
