Who will buy it? Who will allow it to replace your controllers completely?
Personally, i'm a casual gamer, who likes to kick back, flick sticks, pull triggers, and jam buttons.

I don't own a 360, but I have heard a lot of people say that the Kinect isn't very good. A lot of them say the the Wii and PS3 is better with motion gaming then Kinnect.

Well I prefer the Wii, I really don't like actually moving around when I play games, I like to relax.

Wii has the motion gaming market as long as the family market...the kinect is stupid and microsoft should have stuck to hardcore games...and this coming from a huge xbox fan...

Kinect works really well. . . the thing is they probably didnt have it set up right, you have to have a HUGE! space (2-3ft) open for the thing to actually work.

I'll probably buy it 2-3 months into it's initial release. Only because I wanna see what bugs appear and whatnot.

I don't see a lot they can do with this. They're going to really have to think hard. So far Dance Central is pretty sweet. They need to make some kind of game where you can "walk" around by walking in place and then moving your head by leaning or something. I don't know. I just don't like the on-rail type of games that seems to be the only thing they're working on.

I personally like controllers way better. I bought the kinect and it is a lot of fun. I play it for like 2 hours a day, get really tired then go back to fable. I am determined to beat my friends gamerscore xD

The kinect is fun. But, nothing will beat button-mashing.

I don't really want the Kinect because right now there isn't much I'd actually play on it, besides Dance Central, which I absolutely love. However, buying a Kinect just for one game is not at all worth it to me as I don't really see anything worth playing in the lineup so far. Now as far as I saw, the device worked pretty well save for minor hiccups. Still, I feel like they could have done much more in terms of the games that have launched, but I guess time will tell.

I just got it with the system bundle the other day and I'm not really impressed. It took them this long to come up with it in response to Wii and it just seems very flawed. No good games, the voice commands are very limited.. if Amazon hadn't given me $100 back.. I'd never have gotten Kinect.

The Kinect isn't that bad, but I wouldn't ever want it to replace a good old-fashioned controller.
I do enjoy getting down with some Dance Central though. But, that's pretty much the only Kinect game I have besides Kinect Adventures (which was pretty boring).

The Kinect is cool, But then at the same time It makes you look like a retard with no controller. That's why I like the wii better.
