"This place was, and that's saying something coming from a Time Lord," he replied in a dull voice, "it was like something out of a dream. As if malice had never evolved here. They knew what it was. They could see it in other planets, understand it even... but they had no use for it."
He grabbed a fistful of dead earth and let it slip through his fingers. It was not the rich black color speckled with diamonds but rather gray and ashen.
"Why is it..." he murmured to himself staring at the stream of dust, "...people kill everything good in the world?"

Ally smirked "We can't do anything about it Doctor. We just have to live with what happens in this big universe. This place would have envantually lost it's peace in the end...." She said while now looking at him. "But we will somehow fix it, I promise." Ally said while forcing a smile, her eye's now wondering to the outside of the small cave. "Somehow....." She muttered quietly.

"If everything loses its peace eventually, what would be the point of protecting it?" he asked raising an eyebrow at the circular logic, "No. Peace isn't lost, it's stolen. The place I knew is gone. No ammount of restoration will ever 'fix' it. The scars will remain... I know that all too well."
His eyes were hard and cold as they stared at the tower. A raw sense of outrage filled him as he stared at the blighted sky. His silence was best now, since he could not trust himself to speak what was on his mind. This place, this corruption reminded him of Skaro. The ancestors of the Daleks killed their planet, and now it had happened here, in Carroll. The wrongness of it made him want to yell and bellow like a madman at the tower. So yes, his silence was probably best.

Ally eye's moved to him. She could tell that he was outraged. It made her hurt inside especially since this place was just like her planet. Well mostly in the cities. The cities was literally hell in the universe. Many planets that they decided to take over chose to destroy themselves rather than have the Girmixian's take over. She felt that he hated her as well, she had done some of these things herself although she hated it but back then her heart was more cold and ruthless.

The White Queen finally set with a final glitter of light. If nothing else, the light of the white star was still pure and untarnished. The sky darkened and the Doctor got to his feet all the while dusting his hands.
“It‘s time to go,” he stated unemotionally. After digging into his pockets he brought out a bright red glittering ball which he tossed from hand to hand restlessly. “How far away do you think the entrance is?”
With another flourish he slipped on his 3D glasses.

Ally stood up and walked on a few steps ahead of him taking a quick look at their distance. "No more than 2 hours." She spoke as she walked back to him. She tilted her head with a questioning look. "What are those for?"

2 hours... it was a bit longer than he would have liked but at least the darkness would provide some cover. Through his glasses he could see an brighter version of the area. Hopefully the night vision would give him the edge he needed over the Shredders.
"Beryl ball, it's played on the moons of Jizara with wire nets." he replied seriously though the answer was far from it. The sparkly ball glinted in the light of the Cheshire-grin moon as he walked ahead with a purpose to his step.
