I want to know all of your favorite PC RPGs (for no apparent reason other than I like to talk). So post a little something here with a title and why you like the game as much as you do and if possible maybe a pic of the box art/main screen (for me in case I see one I like on the list. I'll go first.

I played a Freeware RPG titled Warrior Dragon about 2 years ago. I fell in love with it as soon as the game loaded. Its kinda a hash of Dragon Warrior except you get to be a dragon whose soul purpose it is to rid the world of the "evil" Dragonknight. It encompasses standard RPG gameplay mechanics including the turn style based battle that I love so dearly. If you haven't played it (noone has probably) then I highly suggest you download it and give it a try.Is only a couple of MBs. The graphics aren't the greatest but hey its a free game.

Diablo 2. (Secret Cow Level + WW Barb/ Ice and Lightning Sorc = Pwnage + Fun) Proven Chemical Formula. 3nodding

Fable: The Lost Chapters. (I don't give a s**t how much other people trash the Fable series, claiming how it's not a real RPG. I loved the game so they can go piss off.)

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. (One of the few games that give you the option to do whatever you want in whatever order you please. A game worth playing over and over again.)

Fallout 3. (Similar to Oblivion, but set in a different theme with more emphasis on ranged weapons as opposed to close combat weapons. Those Radroaches still scare the living s**t out of me when they just pop out of a dark corner.)

Dungeon Siege series. (Very similar to Diablo, save the fact that you can recruit allies to fight alongside you and you can forge your own character to be either a warrior, ranger, or mage.)

Icewind Dale II. (The first traditional RPG that I tried that used an engine similar to that of D&D. Found it pretty enjoyable. Steered away from it after a while, fearing the addiction pulling me further into the world of D&D. sweatdrop )

Titan Quest. (Again, very similar to Diablo 2. This time, it's more Greek/Roman/etc theme.)

Torchlight. (*sigh* Again...very Diablo 2 like.)

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. (Pretty decent game. Had a nice touch of horror and suspense involved. Not to mention that it's not one of those RPG's where your character can run into a mob of enemies armed with machine guns, take all their bullets, AND manage to stay alive. This game requires your character to adopt more of a steathy approach to fighting battles. You ARE a vampire after all. Gotta scare the s**t out of them pesky little insects called humans. 3nodding )

I'm pretty sure I'm missing a huge chunk of games that I'd consider good RPG's but yeah, you'll have to deal with this list for now. biggrin

I can honestly say, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. This game was just so free, so big, and with so many fantastic extras, it just blown my mind how much I could do. There could be said a lot of things about this game, but I believe it is better just to try it out.

Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Diablo I & II, Fable: Lost Chapters, and Fallout 3.
All are great PC RPGs in my book.

Either Diablo II or Fallout 1/2. I played Fallout 3 and New Vegas on consoles, so they aren't really computer RPGs to me. Morrowind is another amazing one. IT IS BETTER THAN OBLIVION! Yeah! I said it!
