Today is a day that means varying things for varying people. The failed plot of thirteen men to overthrow the government and instill their own. While they were unsuccessful in their plan, we are reminded of the ideas behind the actions. The intent. There are times when you must stand up for what you believe in, no matter what it takes. I certainly hope that nobody should have to take such a radical approach as the gunpowder treason and plot to make themselves heard, but you should never be afraid to speak your mind. A happy day, a sad day, a day to be heard. Be yourself and nothing less.
