So, I know I haven't been here in a while, but I have been in the process of moving! <3
Moving as in, moving out of my parents house! Im mostly settled in right now in a house surrounded by friends, I spent my Samhain here, and so far everything is looking lovely. Im just mainly excited about the free use of the kitchen so I can make tea all the time. Mmm, tea. smile
My mom is in the hospital, and have been for a while, and shall continue to be because she has cancer in the lungs and knee, that's deteriorating the femur behind her kneecap, so she can't walk. She's looking a lot healthier though, especially since her appetite has been up. smile
I decided not to do much for Samhain, especially since I found out that the local UU group decided to change the format of their ritual, most likely in favor of the amount of newcomers from the junior college, and they had a very solemn and dark Samhain ritual. So my friends and I decided to change our minds and not go to the ritual, and celebrate at our new home with a candle and glasses of mead, reminiscing over the year since last Samhain, and thanking the Goddess for everything that has happened and all the lovely things that's been brought our way. :3

Oh! That has to be exciting! crying My day will to conme when I can move out, but I can relish in your excitement while I wait.
Curious, are all(or most) of your other friends Pagan?
A good majority of my friends are Pagan or at least interested.
Do you set up photos or a dumb supper for your ancestors or loved ones?

A good majority of my friends are Pagan or at least interested. Do you set up photos or a dumb supper for your ancestors or loved ones?
The friends that I am living with are very much Pagan (actually they're older pagans, one is 36 and one is 40) and they've been practicing for some time, but as far as my other friends go, some are Pagan, some are Pagan curious, and some are very Christian and stuck in their ways, but we still manage to get along. My best friend is a devout Catholic that's interested in learning about Druidry, or at least performing magic thats very nature involved. I'm even friends with a few Atheists. We manage to get along very well. :3
Well, I haven't had a chance to set up a dumb supper or honor my ancestors, mainly because I don't know too much about them, but it wouldn't hurt to get to know them over a nice little dinner. I'd like to do that sometime, especially now that I have the space.
