It's a new sponsor item for The Sims or whatever. I'm pretty interested in it, but I'm not sure how well it'll do. What do you guys think? Is it hoardable? Will Gaians actually use this? Will YOU use it?
I'm in need of data, and a lot of it.

if i were looking for a purple avi, i would actually probably not use this just because of how it looks
it has that my-scarf-is-made-out-of-a-bunch-of-scraps-of-different-cloths look. i dont like it

It's very trendy both in color and style. I'm seeing scarves like this on mannequins in windows everywhere this season.
Where I'm not seeing it is equipped on avatars in Gaia, which is one of my benchmarks for long term investments. It hasn't been out long enough to give it a fair shake on this criteria, though; a lot of people are still hanging around in Halloween avatars while the events are going on.
I like it for myself and I plan to pick up some extras as the price sinks, but I have yet to decide how much/far/etc. because I just don't have the data yet. I pick up extras of anything I like personally just because.
Long term, what it has going for it is that it's purple and very wearable with a lot of different avatars. What it doesn't is that it's trendy today. I have no idea which is going to win out because let's face it, fashion on Gaia does not often parallel that of the real world.

They're up to 500g already huh? (O_o) I managed to snag a few under 200g xD
I don't really think it's hoard-able but just to be on the safe side, grab like 10 or so and wait back to see the outcome? Anyway, I wish the scarf came in different colours though rather than just purple :/

TBH I would probably wear it. I'm not one for sponsor items but this one I can see some potential in. I tend to ignore most sponsor item announcements so naturally I missed this one. Kind of surprised that this one looks so good.
Agreed I like the purple but I would have liked to see it in different colors.

Another point for: because it's a sponsor item, the likelihood that it'll be rereleased is small. Not non-existant like MCs, but given the vagaries of corporate sponsorship, even though they're three to a customer, they're still kind of limited.

The trendy skinny jeans were a sponsor item and they did quite well. I picked up a few of those red jackets and the little zoo animals when they came out just in case. I wouldn't think it would be idea to hoard them with as cheap as they are..what do ya have to lose ya know?

Lovin the shade of purple and the fact that it's a scarf.
I can see it performing well in the long run plus not everyone knows how to get them I think or are too lazy to get them.
Loving how I'm low on gold right now and glad that I don't have to continually buy stuff from the mp anymore for now.
Just my opinion.
