'Hah. Hello again,' Mystic replied as he stepped through the door. He padded over towards the two and peered down curiously at the hand upon the piano as well. '... curious.'He contemplated it for a moment and looked utterly nonplussed. He'd certainly seen worse, but a severed hand that could do something like play piano, well, that was interesting. 'Oh. Suppose you'll be wanting this so that you might escape eventually,' Mystic spoke up as he handed Rhys a piece of candy. 'Take care, and don't get too lost, eh?' he called over his shoulder with a laugh as he floated upwards and went through one of the walls to further explore the house.

More! Tek reached out and snatched the candy up glancing up to watch Mystic disappear.
"Yeah, don't lose that...might be part of our ticket out of here."
Remembering what they were up to before Mystic's arrival Rhys turned back to the hand on the piano. He found the thing interesting mainly because it was moving about on it's own and there wasn't a disturbing amount of blood in the area or something. As they'd found in the room of strobe lights and mazes Rhys and Tek weren't afraid to just grab things and that was what Rhys was going to do to the hand, leaning over he reached out. The disembodied hand however had other ideas and scampered up from the piano onto the top of the grand piano before running over it and jumping off the back side. Dropping down Rhys looked under the piano in time to see the hand running full tilt into another room.
Tek didn't wait for Rhys to voice the command but started off after the running hand, don't let it get away!
Seeing Tek already running after the hand Rhys darted after Tek, they found themselves in a new room with large shelves full of impressively thick looking books lining the walls. An antique desk sits in the corner of the room near a large bay window that opens out over a graveyard; as his eyes go toward the graveyard Rhys notes that each step he takes on the floor sounds like a groan. "Not disturbing at all...I never really understood the obsession with burying people underground..."
Tek first darted back and forth in the room but upon hearing Rhys' thoughts moves over to the window. The two looked outside watching the graveyard under a blanket of fog when a sound behind them caught their attention; to the side of the den was another hall as they turned they saw a lion move past the creature's roar heard in the room a moment. Rhys' eyes widened some and he took a step back, Tek moved over to his guardian curiosity brimming. After the large cat past they spotted the hand again standing on a lever next to a book shelf as their eyes went to the creature it raised and waved to them before pulling the lever, as the lever was pulled the door below them opened up. Tek latched onto Rhys letting a cry of surprise out as they fell.

Reyna spotted the boys immediately as they fell. Well, Rhys fell, Tek just sort of drifted and clung to his guardian. Once they righted themselves and came back up to their feet to take in their surroundings the demoness stepped out of the darkness behind Rhys and wrapped her arms around him. "Haha. I got you two this time," she announced with a smirk. She relenquished her hold on them and handed Tek another piece of candy. "Be careful where you fall," she warmed with a broad smirk before darting through another door.

Rhys yelped in surprise when arms came out of the darkness and wrapped around him. Tek darted into the shadow of Rhys wing before peering out at Reyna, realizing who it was the child darted back from the shadow and held his hands out, Candy!
Rhys murmured slightly, Reyna had gotten them this time. Frowning slightly he watched the door she disappeared out of, "really wish I knew how she did that..."
Tek finished tucking away the bit of candy, the little candies were starting to fill up his little makeshift pocket, We are sure you wouldn't be very good at it - your wings aren't good for speed.
Rhys narrowed his eyes at Tek a moment before letting a sigh out, they had a house to get through and arguing with Tek usually took a fair amount of time so he let it go. With thoughts back on the house he turned in the room to get a look at it, the room they had fallen into had brick walls with the mortar crumbling in some spots. It was a spacious area but was mostly filled with a huge table holding a wide variety of glass vials in various shapes and sizes several connected by a complicated tubing system, a little burner sat under one keeping the liquid within bubbling. Some of the vials held powders and others various liquids of various shades of gray Rhys suspected they would have color if...whatever magic was keeping them washed out was lifted.
"Some sort of alchemy set?" Most of what Rhys knew of this place was from it's television and he had seen at least one monster movie that had a similar prop, "I wonder if it works, of course I wouldn't really know what to do with it." He frowned some at the realization.
Tek had poked about at the alchemy tools for a little bit but had quickly grown bored and drifted to the other side of the room. Lined up along a table were jars with various things in them. Bugs, bits of plants, pickled things...a net hung up on the wall not far away the little fiend drifted over and picked it up. His little face twitched some as if he were smirking and there while hovering in the air Tek took a few practice swipes.
"Tek! The hand - use the net!" Rhys was now darting around the table and the hand had dropped down into the area they were in somehow and was skittering across the table where the chemistry set and alchemy supplies were being kept.
We will get him - we are a hero! His thoughts mainly on the now fleeing disembodied hand Tek started after it by going right across the table, something the little fiend hadn't taken into consideration was that even if he could phase through things the net he was carrying couldn't and as he sped over the table's surface he caught on various vials and lines of tubing and dragged them until he dumped almost the entire table worth of stuff onto the floor with a loud crash ... that ended in a scream.
Rhys winced it had all happened so quickly he'd only been able to watch it happen, looking to the damage his eyes widened in alarm and he forgot about catching the hand. The chemicals on the floor were mixing and a smoke was rising from the pile of rubble, "Tek time to make an escap-" his last word was cut off by a cough the thick smoke was quickly filling the area.
Tek had chased the hand to a small door in the wall and turned dropping the net as he picked up on his guardian's distress. Dashing back into the smoke he started to frantically look for Rhys, stairs! We saw stairs going up.
Luckily Rhys suit came equipped with a gentleman's kerchief which he pulled out and used to cover his mouth. Still choking on the smoke he allowed Tek to guide him to the stairs. Stumbling up the stairs Rhys and Tek spilled onto the floor above. As the world stopped spinning Rhys realized that it felt as if they were being watched turning sharply he tried to spy who it was.

'I would appreciate it if you would not suffocate yourself,' Hawk spoke, rolling his eyes as they noticed him. His tail twitched back and forth in irritation as he raised a hand to summon a rune in the air. Quickly the smoke disappeared, as did the stairs that they had come up, and once more they were in that same single room with two doors available to them. 'Pick your path; choose your fate,' he murmured, not telling them which door was which. 'Oh, and your last piece of candy ...' He tossed the very hand they had been chasing at them. It quickly attached itself to Rhys's face, the blue candy being pressed against his skin as it clung to him for dear life. It only disappeared, dropping the candy and releasing his face, after Hawk left the room with a resounding pop.

Jasa sighed, taking the final piece of candy. They had a way out now, so did they leave or try again? "What do you think, Ruku?" she asked the wisp in her hand.
The wisp hovered over her palm, clinging to her fingers tightly. His panic had slipped away with her closeness. For a moment he had been excited by the other fiend, but it slipped away as she spoke.
"Oh, let's try again." she finally replied stepping out the door to find them on the outside of the house again. Reaching forwards, she opened the door and stepped inside.
The floor before her was different. It was entirely black and white and nothing like before. The place almost seemed surreal because of the monotone quality of the surface. A noose was hanging in the center of the room, causing her to stare. Why would someone leave such hanging in the entry? Would it not scare everyone away?
Perhaps that was the idea.
Reaching out, she touched the rope gently, debating whether to pull it or not. "Oh well, no guts no glory," she mused, giving the rope a good yank.
A loud gong ripped through the air shaking the entire building. Jasa flinched holding onto the wisp.
"Now what?"

It was a slow build up after the gong died, a scream that reverberated in one's very bones. It was more of a wail at times and seemed to follow Hawk's Eye as he materialized in front of the guardian and her wisp. 'Again?' he asked, subdued. 'Then take this candy and make your way out. Two more for freedom or, if you are insane as the rest of us are, another chance to explore more ...'The candy he offered was smeared with dirt and blood and as he disappeared the screaming stopped.

Jasa took the candy watching as the fiend vanished. Had she not just seen him in the other room? Or other version of the haunted house? Fro a moment she stared at the candy then shoved it into her pocket with the other three she had collected.
"This is an adventure, Ruku," she laughed, "but I wonder how this place was created. It's curious, don't you think?"
The wisp continued to hold tightly to her fingers. He had gotten a bit excited by the presence of the other fiend. But as before he was gone before Ruku could do more than uncurl one tendril form Jasa's fingers.
A nearby wall panel was open causing Jasa to stare at it. She did not remembering seeing it before. Instead she glanced towards the open doorway. Perhaps it would be better to go there instead. The girl moved through, the wisp still clinging to her. With a smile she sat down in the wicker chair. She loved the high back to it and leaned back as she inspected it closely.
The black box on the table caught her attention next as it beckoned to her. She reached for it, her fingers caressing the edge. Should she open it or not?

'Best to be careful which doors and rabbit holes we fall into, Alice,' Mystic said with a look of amusement in his eyes and he sneaked up behind Jasa. He rested his chin atop her head playfully and reached around her shoulders to offer her another piece of candy. 'My how quickly you are passing through this little realm,' he teased before fading from view.

She laughed taking the candy just before he vanished. "It won't last. After the other adventure, I can't see my luck holding for very long." Strangely, Rukurai was keeping close to her this time and she reached out gently to offer her hand to him.
As she did so another hand appeared, the top of the black box opening on its own. For a moment she stared unsure whether to be horrified or amused or just entirely creeped out. There was no body attached to it so she chose the latter- entirely creeped out. "Okay... now that is just weird."
Clutching the wisp to her, she backed away slowly moving into the next room. It was then she tripped over something and fell flat. It was soft and furry, but kept her from hitting the hard floor as she plopped down.
