After what felt like hours, Crystalline was able to find everything she wanted. Each spice, fruit and cut of meat was successfully discovered and bargained for. Pleased with the afternoon, she made her way through the vast market, only to hear a familiar tune.
"The power to rule o'er land and sea-"
Pausing, to listen for a few moments, she couldn't surpress a small smile. Slowly, she was drawn in with the crowd, enjoying the song's words and the singer's voice. These times were darkened, and it was so easy to let oneself be taken by the negativity and pesismistic attitude it brought. However, every once in awhile, there was something that brought a few moments of positivity.

She smelt spices, fruits, vegetables... all of those good foods. Upon hearing a very admiring sound, she turned her head to find the music.
She saw a man playing a song with the pan flute. The flute seemed a bit soothing to her, considering that she plays the same type of instrument. Walking over to the crowd that had gathered around him, she dropped a couple coins into the wicker basket. Might as well help out a fellow bard, eh? Plus, he wasn't all that bad. She smiled softly as she heard the tune.

Rose of Hope xxxxxxx████████████████████ ███ Bard » Minstrel ██████████████████████████████ As the atmosphere of the song began to spiral downwards towards the ending, a pink-haired lady passed by and dropped several coins into the wicker tip basket on the ground. Grinning in appreciation, Bob strummed one final chord to finish the song before looking up at the woman. "Oi, that lil' only? D'nate a bit more t' the starvin' musician, ma'am!" He laughed teasingly. Positioning himself to start playing the lute again, he chuckled once again. "Jus' kiddin', thank y' for the tip, miss. This one's fer all t' beautiful ladies out here in da' square t'day!" He called out, flashing a grin and winking at dark-haired woman standing on the fringe of the crowd.
Clearing his throat dramatically, the minstrel's fingers began to pluck at the strings of his instrument again, and with a smile, he broke into yet another song. "On the riverbanks of Cadenz, the sweetest flowers bloom: The daffodils and roses, the lilies of the moon." His voice softly sang the soothing lyrics, languidly strumming at his lute. Giving what some would call a 'lady-killer' smile, the bard closed his eyes to emphasise the tender nature of the love song, and hopefully attract more tips from the female members of the audience. "But none begin to compare with the fairest of them all: My lady of the midnight, the jewel of the ball--"

After moments of listening, Crystalline was able to feel a glint of joy in her eyes. This bard was a happy fellow, and his voice was wonderfully tuned. With her own sister being a bard of great talent, it was nice to know that music and songs could be used for more than just the battles of war.
More seconds ticked by, and the small brunette found that her mood was upbeat. Stepping through the crowd with ease, as Crystalline was a rogue after all, she carefully placed two silver coins within the man's basket. And with that, she was ready to leave the market place with a small smile on her lips.

His teasing was a bit embarassing for her because she usually wasn't spoken to in such a manner. At least, when it wasn't her brother doing to teasing to her anyways. "You're welcome. Just helping out a fellow bard, is all!" The elven woman replied quickly, smiling once more before listening to his next song.
People needed a little bit more music in their lives, and that was what she intended to have. The song felt familiar, much like how other songs she had heard from before Luce became a bard. Maybe the song was heard from elven males trying to get close to her and her mother. Of course, her father would chase them away every time.

xxxxxxx████████████████████ ███ Bard » Minstrel ██████████████████████████████ As the verse of the song finished, Bob flashed what some might consider a 'lady-killer' smile at the pink-haired woman. Helping out a fellow bard, eh? Standing from his seat on the ground, he gave a flourished bow entirely too showy for a marketplace. "Well, ma'am, then y' care to make my solo performance duet? We can split the earnin's if y' want," he suggested. "I ain't ever be one to turn down an opportunity t' perform with a pretty lady." The lady had blushed lightly at his last tease, so this should affect her more. In any case, a duet should be able to raise the spirits of the people even more than a solo, and therefore double the earnings. Two heads was always better than one, right?
