I am bleeding from the inside. My head and my heart are waging war with one another, each trying to prove their point. But each day the battle ends the way it began: A bloody stalemate. The battle shows no sign of ending soon, as the ammunition is endless for both sides, as are the soldiers they use. And so I shall bleed for eternity, my heart and head fighting a pointless war.

good idea and good imagry. Add some line breaks to make it less prosy and maybe find a more specific word for "head"?
mind, brain, logic, ect.
