Watched ep. 21... not really what I was expecting, but hey.
Gojyo, Goku, and Hakkai really didn't seem all that upset after awhile. In fact, they seemed more relaxed. Sanzo, however, seemed to have it pretty hard. There was one scene where he was walking, and he tripped (or collapsed? I couldn't tell). You really got the impression that Sanzo relies on those three more than he lets on...
And it went a bit into Gato's backstory, too... Man, I wish I knew Japanese stressed .

Hazel turned into Tetsuo eek . I kid you not.
And there's one ep. left. Something needs to be done with Hazel, and Nii still needs to make his appearance to the Sanzo-ikkou. GAAHHH xp

I felt so sad when Gato died. He was such a cute character.... well not his apperance but his personality. He cared to much for Hazile, it was cute and when he died i almost cryed. He is also very cute in the manga. I like the part where Goku and Gato train together. Goku is just so cute 4laugh

I just go to youtube.com and search for Saiyuki Episode. I jumped from the first episode of Saiyuki Reload to episode 20 on Gunlock. I'm almost done now! 3nodding

I've had Gunlock for years now.
Granted I jumped the gun and got it off ebay. While the translations are on the mark, they don't sync with the voices, and s**t backs up because they only put like two sentances on each screen even if the character is talking more or less than that. -.-;;
I loved Gunlock, and can excuse the crappy animation it got at some points. Because of Hazel. Oh my Saiyuki, I love Hazel. So much better, imo, than Kamisama.
The ending was a slight twist. But then you understood why Nii called him a Blue eyed angel. heart
