The little girl looked nervously from the door to the security camera. She tried to think of a way, but there really wasn't any way for them to get out while the building was on lock down. She didn't have the code to get through, her powers had very little offensive capabilities to deal with the door or the man... there... really wasn't anything more she could do.
Oddly enough though... barely a minute after the Count had carved the message on the door and pointed to it, there was a startling "thunk" of something large and metallic hitting the floor. The little girl jumped slightly and turned to look at the door, her eyes wide. The lights were still saying that the building was on lock down, but... that sounded like the door... unlocking.
Her suspicions were confirmed when the door clacked, then slid to the side on it's own. Leaving nothing but open sewer on the other side of the door.
Someone in the security room had done the Count a favor. With as much trouble as he had caused, it shouldn't be anyone actually inside the building. The only people who would have helped him
should have left the building quite a while ago. It was a fair assumption that at least one of them
didn't do as they were told.
