OMFG it is so confusing to be the queen i feel bad for lord Lucien and King Logan now D : . im keeping my promises to the people and trying to do the right things for them but always seem to be falling into dept, not only that but if the game is completed and you dont have enough funds for the army something very upsetting will happen (not leaking info)
current dept: -900,000g/6,000,000

I saw that and I was just like "Now I'm a King and they STILL want me to bend over and take it?". I have a problem with being a bad guy in the Fable games so I couldn't raise the taxes or anything. Now I have another reason to start over, to amass an enormous fortune to help with that little problem. Not like its gonna be hard, you get more per job than in Fable 2 not to mention its easier. Good luck with that debt.

Me. When I get out of the trouble I'm in (probably due to alcohol) I would want a celebratory drink. Oh the vicious cycle.

And after I banned alcohol (needed the money badly), I still found drunks all over the place. So therefore, I conclude that Albion is full of Speakeasies. Second playthrough, I shall amass a huge real estate empire before I go off to become queen (seems silly that in a way it's your gold rather than your actions that determine how many people you lose), and no doubt the ending will still make me want to cry the second time around.

Hey, wait. How exactly does banning alcohol raise revenue? Wouldn't it be better to tax alcohol than ban it? So far, this in-game decision registers as "Does not compute".

The first half of the game they make him out to be a money hungry tyrant. But hes just trying to save his country. Poor Logan

I did that. had approximately 2-3 million gold when i became the ruler, and i have to say at the moment im at 3.5M / 6.5M or so, with the decisions of creating the school and rebuilding the old quarter, also increasing the guard budget. though im uncertain if i increased or decreased the taxes,, prolly didnt. though i hear that you can still run around and quest so that should give some money as i get 85k every 5 minutes smile

Yeah, I didn't really get that either. Kind of like when you're in that cave/dungeon in Aurora and Walter is trying to light the torch while I have a fire gauntlet that could have lit it in a second and he never asks "Hey Princess, care to light this before we get eaten by shadow monsters?"

Banning Alcohol didn't raise Revenue. The increase to the treasury, if you listened to Hobbson, was a bribe from the rich to persuade you to prevent the lower class from being able to get drunk. It was a pay off to ban alcohol. The only thing that bothered me in the decisions, was choosing between child labor or closing the factory and making it a school. Why the hell can't I put a school somewhere else and keep the factory to give people jobs?

i played all good the first time, everyone died cause i wasn't paying attention to the debt second time i saved everyone being a good ruler, third time i was evil
when it all really comes down to it is based on how much gold you have and if it is enough to save everyone or not and then whether to be a popular ruler or a hated one... the choices you have towards the end did nothing to strength the effort against the darkness to be honest... or it didn't seem like it.
(wish i could be the darkness incarnate and rule Albion being truly evil, like in fable I destroy Jack's mask or keep it hehe)
the ending is weird at the very end when Theresa sums up- (these are my two endings for good and evil with everyone having survived/ no debt)
-evil breaking all the promise and being a tyrant she spoke as if these evil acts made you a strong leader and everyone were idealistic wimps or something... she seemed to applaud you for making these harsh decisions
-good keeping all your promises and being a kind ruler she still congratulated you, but she didn't give you that "you are a powerful and strong leader" kind of tone as if she were disappointed...
