And I feel let down.....I felt it was lacking. Not that the game wasn't great, I just didn't enjoy it quite as much as I could have....I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't beat it yet, I just felt like sharing my sentiments on it.

unfortunatly i have not beat the game but am almost to queenship it seems, im hoping they havent hyped it up so much that the ending will let me down ((refering to lucien battle in fable2 WHAT A CRAP BATTLE >8O )) but the action seems fairly decent and your person is now rooted to the ground wich i love : D it was so regular that your person would slide around. only problem i have is the fact of buying i dont care for the display buying all to well

See, this is why I didn't pick it up. I'd hoped Fable fans could shed some light on it first. All I knew for certain from it was that the graphics looked fantastic, and I'm one of those people whose gaming philosophy is "Graphics =/= great game". But you did say the game was great. So what worked? (If you'd prefer not to spoil, you could always either PM me or put spoilers in white text.)

@shanoa: (I don't know, it was pretty sweet to just rudely interrupt Lucien during his speech.
"BLAH BLAH BLAH MORAL AMBIGUITY BLAH BL--" *BLAM* )

Also, props for the username--I'll always remember being a black-winged woman who kills her enemies with deadly purple hand lazors. 3nodding (That Endgame flight glyph plus Nitesco)

seems to me it pulled and assassins creed and just made fable 3 exactly what they hyped the one before it to be. I'm just mad that i still cant sit on my own damn throne at will or whip out my wings like they told me i could, I even saw in an old video from lionhead studios of a winged character holding hands with a mate and walking around, apparantly that was taken out of the game for some reason that I will never know. Now your wings only come out when u flourish whats up with that?. If i just cant find the "toggle true self" button then please tell me where it is or how to do it.

I beat it too--and I rather liked the game, personally. There are a few things that I was expecting that didn't happen, but that's fine. It's still an awesome game--better than the other fables in my opinion. The boss battles were great, it was longer than the last game, and it had better, smoother combat. The story and characters were amazing, though the end was a little sad. But I'm not going to give anything away.

Personally, I thought it was a great game and was well worth the buy. Now all I need to do is connect to Xbox Live somehow and download all my content. It looks like I missed out on the villager thing, but oh, well. Didn't look all that great anyway.

Here's why I was disappointed with the game: The story felt short. Shorter than the other two games. I didn't like that the only melee weapons were swords and hammers. I didn't like that I, for the life of me, could not find a place to sell the items I did not want and/or need. I didn't like how powerful Vortex combined with flames or lightning was. Full Charge=1 hit KO on most humanoids. Oh, and I wasn't really that fond of how they did weapon evolution. It wasn't as gradual as I hoped.

What did I like? Nothing. There were things that I loved though. I loved the characters, I felt sad when the ones that died, died. I loved the twist at the final boss fight. I loved the gameplay. I loved that combat was quicker. I enjoy the further evolution of the lore behind Balverines that we see in this game.

That's my pro and con list.

Spoilers are in white
Swift was awesome. He and Sir Walter Beck were my favorite characters. Shame they both died....

When I beat the game, I almost started bawling. I felt so bad when Sir Walter was possessed by the Crawler, and you have to kill him. Once you beat him, he tells you that he's always been proud of you and how there's no darkness where he's going before he dies, I nearly lost it.

At least Ben Finn was there to make me feel better.
