Dres'kin 101

A Guide to those who are new to the Canon

Dres'kin are the decendents of dragons of nearly every type and species. From the Mountain Dragons to the Water Dragons, From those that breath Fire to those that Spew Lightning. After Hundreds of thousands of years however the Dres'kin for the most part have forgotten thier Mythical Roots, dispite still worshiping some of the 'Ancestor Dragons' and have taken instead taking a root in Science and Technology.

On their planet they were the first to learn that Steam could be used as a power source and were the first to learn the power of the Forge and how to mold Steel. For the few thousand years they were our of their Tribal, Spiritual ways they had pushed their way to the stars and other planets, but never colonized these planets as they already had inhabitants upon them.

Not until one hundred years ago did the Dres'kin figure out however that their own actions and the natural movement of their planet was pitched against them. Magnus Antari, the head scientist of the Dres'kin Race had figured out that the planet was headed for Disaster. The waste given off by their industry had been cleared up during the last 200 years then but the planet had started to wobble in such away that it did not matter. Soon the planet would be uninhabitable.

So then Magnus hatched a plan, they would pool their vast scientific knowledge and create an Ark for their people and for a few specimens of their plants and animals. It would guide them to a new planet to start a new. It took 5 years to build and would be able to run for at least 50 years, which would be probable to find a livable planet for them.

When the time came they would take to the stars with what little of their race that was left. For all of those 50 years they traveled they could not find a planet to call their own. They ether had inhabitants already, were owned by Freeza's World's Trade Organization, or weren't able to support life. At the end of their Intergalactic Journey they would find Earth. With their power running low there was no choice but to land. You know the rest...



Waterborn Species: This species of Dres'kin are descended from the Water Dragons that were one the Dres'kin home world. They are for the most part like Normal Dreskin save for the fins on top of thier head that fold back when they are calm and shoot up when they are excited or angry, and the fact they have Gills on the side of their necks. They are mostly Gold or light blue in color.

Dres'kin of the Plains: These Dres'kin are the plain looking Reptile looking species of the Dreskin and have no Natural abilities of thier Dragon Ancestory. However they are the most intelligent and are mostly Scientists and Engineers. This species comes in a multitude of Colors and markings.

Mountain Dres'kin: These are descended from the stereotypical Western Type dragon or Mountain Dragons. Their scales are tougher and thicker then most other species of Dres'kin and have many kinds of Horn styles. These Dres'kin were the first to Forge iron and steel and are the back bone of the Dres'kin Army, being the strongest physically and toughest. It is also said that some still have the ability to breath Fire. Their scales are usually Red, Deep Red or Brown.

Forest Dreskin: This species of Dres'kin hail from the deep forest's of their world and are the smallest of all the Species. They are quick and agile and can move through the Forest and most any were else in abject speed. They hold little of their ancestors natural abilty. Their coloring is usually varying shades of greens.

The Night Fury Dres'kin: This Species of Dres'kin is the most unique of all the Dres'kin in the fact they were the only type to hold on to their Mystical Roots and were the only Dres'kin to keep the knowledge of how to use Magic and Energy from their Bodies. They Descended from the Black Dragons and the Dragons that they get their names from. Because of their Ancestors they were often misunderstood and given a bad rap. Some deserved it but most did not. They are the only species that can access their Bodies Energy and cast Spells or attacks. Currently there are fewer then 100 Night Furies onboard the Ark and the Bio domes, and only 10 Pure Blood. Their Scale color is usually a jet black color but also have been seen in Dark Blue, Indigo and several combination.
