Where ever she was, she was warm, she couldn't see much, or hear, but she could sense that there was someone else with her. She wasn't sure how she got here to begin with, but having the feeling that someone was there with her, made her feel comfortable. She let out a tiny whine to see if anything would reply.

Something nudged her gently, she was glad to feel the warmth emanating from the creature next to her. She fell into a deep sleep knowing she was safe.

Jaqueza felt something beside her, it was warm, she feel asleep next to it, and curled her nose in it's soft fur. She didn't know how long she slept but her eyes started to flicker, and she lifted her head. She opened her eyes, it was very bright, and it frightened her.

The sun was shining bright in the sky. She looked around slowly and saw the creature next to her. She was glad to see someone like her. It made her happy to know she wasn't alone.

Jaqueza looked at the thing next to her, and then looked down at herself. It looked like her, even smelled a bit like her, but she noticed that it was definably a different color than she was. It was very bright to her new eyes, and she wasn't sure if she was seeing it correctly, but it was brighter than her! She smiled and let out a little whimper. "I call myself Jaqueza, that's my name, what's your name?" she smiled at the soft creature next to her and put her paw on top of hers. "Would you like to come outside and play with me?" Jaqueza wasn't really sure if they could do that, but she was curious. "I don't know what's out there, but I don't want to go alone, that's for sure!"

 Eloe had gotten up early that morning to check on the little ones. He was so happy to have them around. He could barely sleep thinking about them all night. He managed to leave them they seemed to rest so much but he was eager to show them around, and to teach them. He hadn't had any children of his own yet but the new litter had fascinated him. He could remember his own childhood and his parents caring for him. He wanted the same experience for these young ones. There were lots of dangers out there and they didn't know about the Alchemist yet. Eloe was sure that he would protect these ones from the Alchemist, he wouldn't get his hands on them, not while he was around. No, these pups were going to have a good life, a free life, and a life filled with others who loved them. He waited outside the cave. He could hear them shuffling, he wondered what they would think of him.
