Today she was on her own, seeing what mischief she could cause. Knowing well her master was lurking in the shadows, she only aimed to please and hoped she would find something worthwhile in her ventures.
Jumping from tree branch to tree branch, she managed to stay off the ground, though almost fell a few times. She still clawed back up the branch and moved on, soon making her way to the clearing with the ever familiar shop smack dab in the middle of the open valley. Not seeing as many leaves, she jumped down from her height and managed to land in the remaining soft grass, looking around to see who was about this day

 He was grown.....left alone by his mother to his own devices. He would no longer have her hanging over his shoulder, she wouldn't be dragging him everywhere with her, and he no longer would be draped in flowers and other fauna that was native to the area. The feeling was nice, but left him empty. Something Nettle did not like.
He had learned that 'friends' and 'mates' could get rid of the awful emptiness, but Nettle had never had any of these, nor did he know how to get one. All he knew is that if a female made the hole when she was away, another female could fill it, and his mother had said everybody hung around the shop. Very well, that was where he had gone.
Laying outside Nettle glanced around. No one was outside beside himself, and while patient, he was getting anxious for company. Finally from the corner of his eye he spotted a blur of green in the fiery colored forest. Quickly turning his head he relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief, finally he got to meet his first female outside of his home who was not family. "Greetings."

Looking around, she was utterly disappointed that no one else was around, and frowned at this small fact. The one day she decided to get out and about, and no one is around for her to pester. This must have been the work of her master. He was always trying to make her work harder than it needed to be.
She sighed and plopped on the grassy ground, crossing her arms and putting on a defiant look, "Why do you always have to make me work so hard" she mumbled in a hushed voice. Flicking her ears back at the sound of crunching leaves behind her. She whipped her head around to see a fox almost as red as the leaves. She blinked a few times almost blinded by the color, then furrowed her brow with a mischievous smile as he was coming to her. Maybe it was a lucky day. "Well aren't you a sight for sore eyes"
