Krissi-Chaos What annoys me is that Julie doesn't get a costume, ever. But the wing scouts or whatever they are, do. MTV won't pay them to do it. That and Julie is actually a mannequin.

I don't normally play zomg. I just was helping a friend since my computer is faster than hers.
Wish you luck with jack hunting though n_n

So compared to the horrid delay last year, this event went off pretty well, functionality-wise. But how about the fact that they didn't get the Halloween Header up until well into the first week of November?

Matasoga So compared to the horrid delay last year, this event went off pretty well, functionality-wise. But how about the fact that they didn't get the Halloween Header up until well into the first week of November? Well, between the banner delay and that, for a while, they had no link to the event, that was rather frustrating. However, I am glad that the event itself went off without a hitch- and there's some decent items from it, too, surprisingly.

Eliae Darr Matasoga So compared to the horrid delay last year, this event went off pretty well, functionality-wise. Ah, yes, that too was quite the astounding oversight on their part, and it was an oversight, They didn't take it down intentionally, because why would they? It never stopped working. Ah, Gaia... You silly pack of lovable ********. So I finished with the event, and by the looks of it, so did a lot of you. I like the funeral frame, but I'm not so sure on the jewel-topped beatin' stick. I call it a "beatin' stick," due to the fact that it's clearly not a cane, given that the bottom never actually touches the ground in any pose (which is either a stroke of absolutely breathtaking incompetence or a clear indication that it is not a cane, at all). So what do all of you think, now that it's over. I thought it was rather... Low-key and understated compared to most other Halloween events. There weren't any stunning animation, zero player interaction (unless you count having to wait until "The Community" defeated the ghosts, which was nothing but annoying) and you could hardly call it "An extravaganza," like most years. So I guess what I'm saying is that I want them to bring back player interaction, bring back flash and flare, and start making event achievements that we can keep. What do you think, everyone?

If they could have had last year's event running as flawlessly as this one (minus the plot bullshit that occurred), I would have to say that it would have been significantly better. The required cooperation between members of the same side was interesting, and the fact that they so readily rallied together to try to win was, in my opinion, astounding. Another event similarly done would be wonder, I believe, as it was enjoyable aside from the problematic glitches that occurred regularly.
Personally, though I think most anything is better off without achievements, as all it's there for is for people to be able to brag about "I'm better than you!" and have something to back it up. While that may not be the intention of achievements and the subsequent points that go with them, it is still a side-effect and does little to nothing aside from that, in my opinion.

it was alright. i enjoyed it for the most part. the ghosts were pretty funny and i liked the story. though the waiting was irritating and the fact that i finally found jack and helped defeat him then the game completly froze so it didnt acknowledge it. that was annoying too.
