Fable III is nearly upon us (four more days!) and while I'm really excited, I think now would be the perfect opportunity to discuss our heroes from the first two games and our soon-to-be hero of Fable III.

What was your hero like? What did he/she wear? Did he/she master only a specific type of combat? Or was he/she a jack-of-all-trades? Was your hero evil, good or somewhere in between? Did you actually stick to that? Or did you slip every now and then and do something outside of your predetermined alignment? Did your hero sleep around a lot? Or was he/she faithful?

How will your hero be in Fable III? Will you be a kind and merciful ruler? Or will the slightest offenses cause you to snap and personally punish your citizens? Perhaps you'll be something in between? Will you again focus on a single form of combat? Or will you become a one-man army capable of doing anything? Will your kingdom be one of happiness and prosperity? Or will you let it suffer to line your pockets with gold?

Will you start a family and treat them well? Or perhaps... abuse them at every chance? Or maybe, just maybe, you'd rather be single and get freaky all the time? Will your hero take on the role of a detective and personally get involved with the crimes that happen around your kingdom? You're given the opportunity to make promises on your rise to power but do you actually plan to keep many or even any of them?

More importantly, will you team up with someone to kick a**? Or do you prefer flying solo?

There's a lot of questions I could continue asking but I won't because this thread isn't about answering these questions (they're more of a guideline than anything). It's about discussing your past, present and future hero(es) and again, these questions are not meant to be answered as is. The goal is to use them as a sort of basis for describing and discussing your hero(es).

In the first fable/Fable the Lost Chapters, My hero, Wilhelm "Liberator" Bardson, was a paragon of all things good. He mostly used swords and hammers, but would use bows from time to time as well. Mostly to deal with Sprites and Jack when he was floating about. The only spells he ever really used were Physical Shield and Heal Life. He had one wife on the Hook Coast.

In Fable II My hero, Elias "King" Sheppard was a good fellow who was a jack-of-all-trades. He would smite down all evil with his cutlass, his clockwork pistol, or one of the many spells that were at his command. His dog, also named King, was the best dog ever. He could spot enemies a mile away, find any sort of treasure, and express any emotion to any citizen who his master interacted with. The Hero had one family, a barmaid from Oakfield who he moved first to Bloodstone to live in the mansion, then he moved her to serenity farm when their daughter, Abby, was born, and then into Fairfax Castle once he bought it. Since then He has had a second child; a son named Dan.

In Fable III, I suspect that I will probably play as a Jack-of-All-Trades once more, but as always a slight tendency towards melee combat. He's gonna be once more like his ancestors, a paragon of light. He's also going to be a monogamist, and unless she dies in the game, he's probably going to marry his love interest from the story portion of the game. If something happens where he cannot marry her, He will probably marry the "Create-A-Villager" Village that I will create. His dog, Duke Farfenmaker XII, will be a fun dog to be around. As to how This new hero will be as a king? I'm unsure. personally I like the idea of green being abounding in Albion, but at the same time as a history-nut, I know that industry, particularly the jobs it creates, are vital to a nation's economy. I would like to hope that there will be a middle ground....like...clean and right industry instead of either no industry or evil industry. But aside from that, our good King will be one who will keep his promises, and he is a man who will not make promises he won't keep. If he needs to make promises that go against his nature, or ideals in order to gain followers to fight the revolution, he won't make those promises. He alone is probably a greater warrior than all the followers that that person would give me anyhow. The King prefers a "Hands-On" method of ruling, and gets bored when idle for too long, so he's gonna go out and go all Batman on the asses of the criminals who would dare besmirch the safety of his citizens.

As long as Sir William Beck doesn't die, I'm teaming up with him whenever I can. He seems like a badass. If I have friends online who have fable, I'll probably team up with them once or twice. But I'm not going to make any shared gold accounts with them. I like to spend, collect one of every master-level item and augment them how I like. I don't want to steal their gold by mistake, or have the same thing happen to me.

If i remember correctly, in the first game i was good aligned with the tear of avo.
was heavily into the physical and ranged combat tiers with some points in magic power and the healing spell ( which became moot towards the end )
think i was Paladin.

Second game, my first character was good ( she ) sparrow with skill as a main priority, though some points in physical for the flourish and the health increase.
think i chose love on that one, though i deleted it.
at the moment on my new hero ( she ) im on the way to oakfield, though im gonna take my good time getting there.

I'll probably be a skill based hero in Fable III, and i'll probably be good instead of evil, but who knows, i may just be slaughtering tons of people in bowerstone, just for the hell of it

Hm...I guess I can remember these things, since I was quite insincere with these kind of things. . .

Fable 1/Lost Chapters:
I named my Hero(since you couldn't name him I think) Lord Ken. Ken is just a simple name, but I was quite young at the time, right now I'm 13, so...(Ha...=.= ). The first Hero was Good, always good, weilding one of the Strongest Sword of Avo's Tears. And had defeated Jack of Blade in both forms and burnt the mask. My second hero(which I had alot more fun with) was considerably Madness, and utterly evil. He was corrupted, the opposite to the first one he had on that Fire Assassin outfit, along wielding the sword of Aeons, and the Mask of Jack of Blades! Yeah killing poeple was quite amusing. The mask looked kind of screwed up since the Fire Assassin mask was in the way. I felt so unloyal, so mean...so...free. But when Fable 2 came, Lord Ken faded.

Fable II :
Before I have played this, I practically fell in love with another and one of the main characters. Enchanted Arms and it's loyal, London Knight, Raigar. And yes, I loved him so much, I named my new character in the second game, Lord Raigar. Elegant man, named him Shadowfiend. More Gentleman, and he was rich, I wished we could actually marry Reaver for god sakes! As I finished the game with him as my character, my dog, Maxi, is slowly down, along with my family(only my Husband). Indeed he was a gay, I was quite indeed satified by the fact that I am too. And so I lost him, and I have killed Lucien. Well first I destroyed him with the Music box, second time was that Reaver has shot him with his Dragonstomper .48
Yeah, I didn't care that he killed him, I though he was a smexeh sonofabetch.
