Ok, so I walked into practice today finding out that distric won't approve any of our field show trips or parades. So right now the only thing our band is doing are football games and inner school pep rallies. But even if they do give us shows back were only going to get 4 at most if they reschedule last Tuesday's. We are getting so screwed over...

I feel saddened by this. Our school's band gets no support from our school. All our school (and probably almost every school) cares about is sports. You're not the only one getting screwed, my friend.

Well the school loves us, even some of the football team members came to our first field show performance. But the district hates us cause it isn't approving any of our trips. Hell, the other schools love us.

well we only get 250 $ to do everything for our band which includes every single band concert, marching, jazz, pit so our band boosters has to pay for it. Also our school doesnt really care bout us very much
