Having left home early to get a good hunt in before all of the deer went into the deeper forest to were it would be harder for him to hunt. As Arlen liked the open to were he could run his prey fast and to kill it fast. It had taken him most of the morning to find a small herd of deer and to quickly kill one as he had been spotted when he had entered the clearing. Arlen had made a good quick clean kill and munched away at his prize until he was full. Leaveing the rest of the kill for the scaverngers. He looked himself over to find that at least he hadn't gotten any blood on his clothing and thought to himself that a good nice long drink would be good and to clean of his hands and feet of blood.
After a little looking around Arlen found a small clean stream in a small forest clearing. Getting on his knees he took a good long drink from the stream. Then he set to washing his face free of blood and then to his hands and feet and not really paying all much attention to his suroundings as he washed up as his tail stiffly wagged behind him.

Wow, the forest looked so different in the autumn. It almost seemed..brighter? If only because there was more light shining through the trees and the leaves were all mostly orange and yellow. They were very pretty! Today Tyyne had decided she'd mix it up a bit, take a walk in the forest since it'd been so long. It wasn't the park, it wasn't home, it definitely wasn't the beach and it wasn't the flower shop. It was something different. She was very surprised to see a small herd of deer go dashing by her in a frightened manner, blinking and just staring at them. They were all so graceful and pretty...she was slightly awkward. But she was pretty, right? Evari said she was...and why would Evari lie about that? She was stupid, she broke promises a lot, and she was incredibly stubborn and greedy but Tyyne had never known her sister to be a liar. Maybe she should follow them? She didn't see anything chasing after them...but they were gone now, Tyyne knew she wouldn't be able to find them.
And so Tyyne continued on, pausing when the sound of running water got her attention. Water...? Like, a river? Her ears flicked and she turned her head in the direction of the sound, rubbing at the back of her neck and briefly turning her eyes up to the scale in her hair. No, it couldn't be...not twice in a row. What were the chances? And yet despite the nagging fear that maybe Leviathan would be there somehow Tyyne found herself heading toward the water, peering over a bush when she was close enough. She froze when she saw someone else there, someone blue and reptilian looking. Leviathan?! Oh, no. Just a boy..
...A...a boy covered in blood! Tyyne nearly fainted, skittering back noisily with her hands clasped over her mouth. Blood! He was covered in blood! Why?! W-was he hurt? Oh no! If he was hurt she should check on him...but what if it wasn't his blood? Did he kill something?! W-was he why the deer were scared?!

Arlen had heard something in a bush when we was cleaning up himself from all of the blood as his tail had stopped moving as he slightly turned his head to see where the noise had some from. As he didn't want to scare anyone they could see it and if he wanted a snack they would have stated far from him. Staring carefully towards to were he heard the noise trying to see who it could be as most of the blood on his face had been washed off but for a few spots on his nose. Claws on his feet digging into the soft ground to were he was standing and in a good posion if he needed to run as he gave his tail a swish.
Now he could somewhat see to what was in the bush and though it was another deer or something like a deer he thought as he quickly turned back to the stream to get the rest of the blood off. Standing up and turning around to walk towards the bush and to what he thought might be a deer or something that had gotten his attention now.

Oh no! He was coming closer! Tyyne stumbled back a bit more with a whimper, doing her best to stay quiet despite really failing at it. Her ears were perked high and her eyes were wide, really wanting to get away from him. "P-pleasedon'teatme!" She cried, looking around desperately. They were near water, right? Right? They were! A-and this water had to come from somewhere which meant maybe Leviathan was here like he'd been here last time, right? Right?!
Tyyne never thought in a million years there would come a day she wished Leviathan was around. Surely if he adored her as much as he claimed he'd protect her from this scary boy who had been covered in blood only moments ago! She didn't even want to know where the blood came from. "I promise I'm no good! I-I cry and I scream and I'm probably not very good to eat anyway!"

Arlen was just a little confused to the fact that what he thought was a deer didn't run like the rest of them but when he had gotten closer he could see that what he thought was a deer wasn't really wasn't but sorta was. Smiling as he aproched the deer-not deer. "I won't eat you," he answered as he got closer as he scratched his head as he couldn't figure out why he would want to eat her, but then thought back to the reaction he had gotten from Dei was sorta simmular.
Tho Arlen didn't get too much closer as he could she that she had horns and would stay clear of those as he didn't want a goring from them. "No worries I won't eat you," he said reasuringly and make sure not to show his teeth. "I promise," he added trying not to look scary. Tho he didn't know right this second that she was the deer princess as he really still didn't know what a princess was, except for they were female.

"Wh-why were you covered in so much blood?!" Tyyne asked with fright, shaking as she backed away until her backside bumped against a tree. Gah! W-was she cornered now?! Her head whipped up to stare up at the tree that was behind her, the blue and gold scale in her hair glinting in the light as she did. At his promise not to eat her...she still wasn't exactly sure if she could trust him.
Well no...maybe it was true? Clearly he must have eaten something to get all that blood on him, she just didn't want to know what, so maybe he was full enough that he didn't need to eat her because he'd already been fed! It made total sense...yes. "Youpromise?" She asked just to make sure she'd heard right. If he still promised she'd...er...well, she didn't know what she'd do but it'd feel better if she heard him say it again!

"Its from what I ate," he replied as he didn't know how she would react to what he ate and he didn't want to scare her more and didn't say anything, anyways he was full for anything except for some sweets. Then he spotted the glint from the scale that was in her hair that got him thinking as he swore that he had seen that type of scale before but couldn't put his foot on it.
Amused to the fact that she wanted him to promise more about not eating her as he never ate anyone that could hold a conversation with him only the dump beasts that he hunted. "Yes I promise, promise," he said again as he really didn't want to eat her. Then it just hit him to were he had seen a scale and thought it was from his Lord Leviathan. "By any chance are you the deer princess?" he asked as he wasn't total sure but he wanted to make sure his guess was correct. "Also I'm Arlen," he added as he did want to be rude and maybe if he had given his name she wouldn't be scare of him.

So it was something he ate. That was terrifying! Tyyne felt better when he assured her of his promise, about to relax and maybe even introduce herself when she heard a very familiar nickname. A nickname that sent shivers down her spine and made a hot blush rush to her cheeks, suddenly rubbing at them and clearing her throat. The deer princess? Eh...sh-she really wished she wasn't. She really, really wished she wasn't. Tyyne whined, tugging at her ears and about to protest that she wasn't a princess when the boy introduced himself. Wait, she knew that name. How did she know that name?
"A-Arlen? Like...Leviathan's Arlen?" Thaaaat explained it. Tyyne frowned, her pink cheeks puffing a bit. That was why he called her the deer princess. "Don't tell me he has you thinking I'm a princess too...I've tried and I've tried but he insists on calling me his deer princess." She sighed heavily, crossing her arms over her chest and nudging a pebble around. "I'm not a princess...my name's Tyyne."

Arlen wondered to why she had rubbed her cheeks as he thought that was very strange as he hadn't caught that she had blushed but then he had never seen anyone blush. Wiggleing his toe claws into the earth as it was something that he did if he could when he was talking to others as it was something he just did.
Smiling large but not showing his teeth to her. "Yes I am, General Arlen at your service," he answered bowed to her. As getting up from the bow he thought to the next thing she asked. "Well I have never known to what a princess is excpet that they are female and to what Lord Leviathan has told me which was just to what princesses he likes and such," he replied back. "Well its nice to meet you none the less, Tyyne," he said as he was sorta different when in the presence of Levi as he would do what his Lord told him, but on his own he did what he wanted but still kept in mind to things Levi might like or such. "So do you want so sweets?" he asked as he took a pouch of of his belt and held it out in front of him in her direction.

So he was 'General Arlen', he looked...close to what she had been expecting. Sort of. She imagined someone more dragon-like like Leviathan was. Tyyne blinked and watched as he bowed for her, a bit thrown off by an action she had never seen anyone do for her. Was he bowing because Leviathan had him convinced she was some kind of deer princess? Greeeeat. Just great. "You don't need to bow...a-and I can assure you, he thinks I'm a princess but I'm not a princess. I'm not a princess at all. Not in the slightest." Tyyne felt she was the furthest thing from a princess! And yet Leviathan and Enyo insisted on calling her 'Princess'. She didn't like it, the name didn't seem suitable for her. Princesses were supposed to be so many things Tyyne just wasn't! It didn't seem right or comfortable for them to keep calling her by that title whether it be because it was just a nickname or because they were...just...insane and delusional.
"Sweets? Like...candy?" Tyyne blinked. "I don't eat them very often...n-not because I don't like them! Just I...prefer other stuff." Like fruits, vegetables..healthy things. Anything not meat. Sweets weren't meat but she still preferred an apple over a cookie any day. But she eyed the bag being held out to her, looking like she was considering it. A treat wouldn't hurt...

"But its only polite to do so," Arlen replied as he thought to the rest of what she had said as he knew by at least defination on what a princess was. But in reality he didn't know and was only going to what Levi had told him. "Yes that he what he thinks but some times yourself can't see that you are but only in the eyes of others as you don't think that you never can be when you are one. Also there could be many different types of princess then the ones from the medieval times, but then I only know what a princess is from the defination of the word," he said as it was the truth. "Maybe you are a princess because you are pretty," he added as he gave a shrug as he like the way Tyyne looked many it was her horns and how if he had those horns on how he would use them as he just loved weapons.
"Yes," he answered as he took some salt water taffy out of the pouch to show him as it was one of his favorites. "Like the natural sweets that you can find in nature, like berries and apples?" he asked as he liked those too as he didn't eat too many sweets himself as his siblings always ate them before he did most of the time despide all of his hiding of it and he also like natural sweets too. "Here," he said as he put a lot into his hand of the wrapped taffies in his hand and held it out for her to take what she wanted and to what flavors she wanted.

"But even still...I..." Tyyne frowned and huffed a little. She wasn't a princess; princesses were pretty and graceful and elegant, they wore pretty dresses and did...princessy things! Tyyne wasn't any of those things...except maybe graceful, she could jump and prance very easily. And she really only stumbled on stairs or when one of her hooves got stuck in something, which she couldn't exactly help. She'd gotten better with stairs though! It was going down them she had the most trouble with. A step here a step there was alright, she just couldn't handle...flights of stairs. At Arlen's compliment she suddenly blushed and just stared. Because she was pretty? Was that why Leviathan liked her? She rubbed her lips together for a moment, her heart racing at the memory of their most recent encounter. He'd wanted her to do that...boys didn't just give permission for girls they didn't find pretty to kiss them, right? Guess...it made a little bit of sense. But only a little, she still wasn't very sure at all.
Her blush began to fade when he got out the taffy, blinking and peering at the one in his hand. Taffy? She'd never had that before. "Ah, yes...fruits...vegetables. I can't eat meat, just seeing it makes me feel sick." She admitted with a sigh, though she really didn't regret that or anything. She was fine with not eating any meat; she didn't need it. There were other ways to get the nutrients one would normally get from meat, right? Tyyne reached out to take one of the taffies, picking out a pink one first. "What are they?" She asked as she unwrapped one, blinking and picking at it curiously. It was sticky! Weird...so she just chewed it? Tyyne put it in her mouth and started to chew on the weird candy, her ears perking and her eyes widening as she made a happy little 'mmmm!' noise. It was delicious! She couldn't exactly tell him this right now but it was clear she liked it!

He still was going to think Tyyne a princess despite telling him that she isn't. As nothing was going to change his mind. "Well maybe you might not think that you are but there are others that think that you are and maybe that is all that matters," he answered as he thought it and found her very intersting looking.
Arlen make sure not to show how much he didn't like vegetables as they tasted so weird when his guardian make him eat them every now and then claming that it would be good for the body. "But that is ok, everyone is different in what they like to eat or cant eat. I like to eat meat and vegetables every now and then," he said as it was true, but he wasn't going to say that he liked it still warm as he didn't want to scare Tyyne any more as he wasn't going to eat her. "They are salt water taffies and come in many different flavors and the colors of the taffy are how to tell the different flavors," he said as he offered Tyyne more as he got more out of his pouch. "Like this one, is pepperment flavored," Arlen said show her a white and red taffy. "And this one is apple flavored," he added showing a light green colored one. He was very happy that she was enjoying the first one as he just loved them and was happy to share as he smiled that she like the taffy. "I'm glad that you like them as they are my favorite treats,"
