For those of you who do not know Sony Playstation has added a new accessory to it's counsel.
The Playstation Move.
The Playstation Move is a combination of the Playstation 3 system, the Playstation Eye camera and the Playstation Move motion controller.
The Playststion Move uses the Playstation Eye camera to track the glowing ball at the end of the Playstation Move controller. Sound familiar? So, if you swing the controller the on screen character swings a baseball bat, tennis racket, sword, etc., etc. Just like the Nentendo Wii.
The Playstation Move Bundle includes:
Playstation Move motion controller, Playstation Eye camera, Sports Champions game, and a bonus game demo disc.
Notice anything missing? Anyone familiar with the Nintendo Wii can tell you that there is a second 'half' to the controller. Nintendo calls it's 'other half' a 'Nunchuck'. The 'Nunchuck' plugs into the 'Wand' (Nintendo's name for the motion controller) and has a thumb-stick for moving your character around or selecting menu buttons. Playstation's version is the 'Playstation Move Navigation Controller' which is the exact same thing, except that Playstation's 'Nav controler' has an extra shoulder button. Now even tho the Nav controler is extra, us.playstation.com states that it is completely unnecessary, they say that you can just use the standard PS3 controller in it's place. However this means you'll need to operate the PS3 controller with only your left hand as your right hand will be wielding the Move controller. And all that is moot if your left handed.
Now that I got all that out of the way I wanted to ask you all this:
Is the Playstation Move a viable resource for those Playstation fans who feel left out of the whole Nintendo Wii, or is it merely a cheep imitation?
