Who do you get inspired by or whos' brew is the best to you?

I personally like charmingpixieflora's Witch's Brew. I make my own but she is amazing at expaining everything.

Mine:

1gal Apple Cider
1c Apple Juice
1 apple cut into rings
1 orange cut into rings, squeezed a little bit
3 TBSP Cinnamon.
1/3tsp of each:
[Allspice
Nutmeg
Clove]

Ps. In 2012, I'll probably add a little somethin' somethin'. wink

We actually have a local winery that puts out a mulled wine called "Witches Brew". It isn't horrible when heated in a pan with some oranges and possibly apples, but on its on its horrible. As with all dark reds, you can taste the tannins just floating around the back of your tongue as you drink it.

As for all you underage Pagans, no dipping in the communal spirits... o.O

xD Awwww! Darn it... (Lol.)

I saw a box of spice packets at Meijers that was called "Witches' Brew". $4.99 is too much money, when I can make my own, but, I thought it was cute.

Forget wine. It's Mead all the way for a pagan wink . Make your own adding the touches you like and progress with it. Mead is also the better alcohol to use for rituals anyway.

That honestly depends on the ritual you're performing. Mead is a very old Nordic origin (nordic, celtic, anglo saxan) drink. Not to say that it can't be adapted to any ritual, but it would seem on in say, an egyptian ritual.

Well you can't forget about those who can't exactly get their hands on mead, or have the resources or time to make mead.
Sparkling juice of course is my common substitute. As far as other brews, I'm still in the process of experimenting with teas. I think its a really fun art. Like cooking, only just tea.

O 3o Really now?

Charmingpixieflora has a recipe for Winter Solstice Tea (which might I add, is REALLY good).
