I'll try to get into a university in France for 1 semester. Sadly the curriculums and lectures are different from the German ones, which makes it difficult to find the right university sad What's more our faculty doesn't have any connections with faculties of other (foreign) universities ! stressed
The U.S.A is out of question sad I'm an average student with little money...no chance. crying

I'm doing a high school exchange in GdaĆsk, Poland next year for 6 months, I'm excited and nervous. >w<

My focus is on learning Japanese, thus I voted Japan, but I believe it would be a long the same idea for what ever country you go to as an exchange student.
As long as you do the same process of staying with a family, going to a school etc, you will learn.
I'm sure the environment only changes depending on your environment whether it be urban or countryside etc. Also perhaps depends on the relationship of your country with the country you are going to. I don't think a country that discriminates against your will act very well as to supporting you as an exchange students, unless they are more open minded about it.

Hopefully I can go to Barcelona this summer to study with EF *u*
But I dream of going to Germany!
