Prove it to her. Search it on the web, or wiki it. Better yet, you should let her youtube one of their songs with the lyrics in it. Sorta like a karaoke. If that doesn't suit her fancy, then research it, and give your mom the papers.

And if they are a christian band, maybe they've done an interview?
