yes i think it would be best for them to stop soon. but that post was before 2 came out so we still don't know what they could do. I just hope they don't try to take it to the future, i would not play that game.

Even if they get into a modern, or futuristic-times fable game, I think I would play it, simply to see.

I've already stuck my head into two, soon to be three, Fable games. might as well go all the way.

Especially if they keep with the connected storylines.

I'm a sucker for 'what happens next?' things. D:

i dont see the Fable series going much farther into the future than it is now.
there is much more that can happen besides going further into the future, such as exploring more of Aurora and maybe even Samarkand.

IIRC the second half of Fable III involves invading Aurora, or something like that, so there is still plenty that can happen within this time period.

Scythe was one of my favorite characters, and I really don't think he's ever gonna show up ever again, sadly. Unless Lion Head pulls a Bungie and makes the closest thing to Fable 4 a prequel that takes place before the first game.


where you play as a young William Black. I'd play that.

Lionhead is actually planing on five Fable games.
Fable 4, The Crusades! Fable 5, Escape from the Amazons!

razz I wouldn't be surprised.
