Children See, Children Do - Video. This was a commercial advertising the dangerous cycle of bad habits... Such as drug abuse, littering, physical abuse, drinking, and anger control issues.
In this particular commercial, it shows that whatever a parent is doing, the child will do it as well either right away, or later on in life.
Which brings me to the big question... Would you think, if a child had witnessed a parent raping their mother, or their father... that the child would grow up to be a rapist too? I personally, think not. A lot of people in the guild previous to my joining, had said that "if a baby is conceived through rape, the baby will grow up to be a rapist." This, is not true. There are a lot of children in the world who were born because of rape... and they aren't rapists. However, on the flip side, a child who was born because of love could very well be a rapist. Rapists are unpredictable, and it doesn't matter what kind of environment they come from...
But what do you think? Is rape and sexual abuse a part of this dangerous cycle of "monkey see, monkey do?"

that is a very powerful video, but some things were false...if a child saw his father screaming at his or her mother, they'd cower in fear and run to their room. With rape, I don't think they'd become a rapist, but they'd be deeply disturbed by the incident.

They won't necessarily become a rapist. Unless they're taught that it's okay to do (I hope that's not the case), I doubt it.

Well, its like "monkey see, monkey do" in a way; the monkey sees it then does it, but monkeys are only animals, so I don't think humans work that way. So it all boils down to the child itself; it depends on whether the child wants to live as a rapist/pig or live their lives as normal people
