Sometimes, there are concept that just doesn't seem to fit. Aliens, Golems or completly new lifeforms.
In the FF universe, most of the ''bizarre'' character races came from scientific/magical experiments, or were studied by scientists (mad or not). This ORD race tries to cover the majority of the aspects we can found in these experiments.
STR / VIT / AGI / SPD / MAG / SPR 6 6 6 6 6 6
Don't worry, these are not the final numbers, but the absolute minimum. When crafting a scientific experiment, you first decide its frame, then choose 3 different features. They determine the race's maximum ability score.
Frame:
Robot (Ex: Robo (Chrono Trigger), Grobyc (Chrono Cross)) +5 VIT, +3 STR, +3 MAG, +1 SPD
Plant (Ex: Spar (Breath of Fire 2), Peco (Breath of Fire 3)) +5 STR, +3 SPR, +3 VIT, +1 MAG
Quadripedal (Ex: Red XIII (Final Fantasy 7)) +5 SPD, +3 AGI, +3 STR, +1 SPR
Humanlike (EX: Celes (Final Fantasy 6)) +5 SPR, +3 MAG, +3 AGI, +1 STR
Diminutive (ex: Chu-Chu (XenoGears)) +5 AGI, +3 SPD, +3 SPR, +1 VIT
Animated Doll (ex: Vivi (Final Fantasy 9) +5 MAG, +3 VIT, +3 SPD, +1 AGI
Then, you select three features below.
+4 STR (ex: Muscle Implant or Trained for War) +4 VIT (ex: Long Lasting or Tough Skin or Armor Plating) +4 AGI (ex: Flexible body or Well Crafted) +4 SPD (ex: Wired Reflexes or Additional Legs) +4 MAG (ex: Superior Intelligence or Crystal Implant) +4 SPR (ex: Open Minded or Nerves of Steel)
You add all the bonuses together, and you got your final stat line.
Example: Red XIII
Red XIII is Quadripedal, thus I selected the Quadripedal frame. He is also trained for war, of superior intelligence and has tough skin. Thus I selected the features +4 STR, +4 VIT and +4 MAG. His final stats line looks like this
STR / VIT / AGI / SPD / MAG / SPR 13 10 9 11 10 7
