Eragon ran and turned the corner, finally feeling safe, away from that monster's shop.
"Do you have the antidote Eri? Please tell me you do!"

"Um... yes. Yes, I do. Kinda..." Rubbing his head with his hand, he pulled the two vials out of his bag. "It's one of these. But the geezer wouldn't tell me which one. And I don't know what'll happen if we give her the wrong one..." He handed them to Eragon nervously. "What should we do?"

Holding both vials in his hand, Eragon sighed. Calling upon the force, he asked it for help. He had the power to save his sister in his hands. Which was it? There!
He handed Eri the blue vial. Pulling the cork off the red one, he lifted Illy's head and helped her drink the potion.
"Now...we wait...."

"I guess... I just hope that force stuff works..." He drummed his fingers on his knee nervously. "But shouldn't we get her home? Mom and Buffy are probably worried sick..." Looking up, he waved down the first passerby. "Excuse me ma'am, but d'you know what time it is?"
The woman sighed and pulled out a silver pocketwatch on a long chain. "It's a quarter after midnight, young man. Something tells me you should be home." With a small smile, she handed Eriol a card. "Here... in case your parents, or you, ever need some advice." Winking, she pocketed the watch and continued on her way.
"Um... thanks miss." Eriol watched her go for a moment. "I guess time flies... time... flies? It's back! Eragon, time is back! People are moving and everything!" He grabbed his friend by the shoulders excitedly. "We did it!"

"Would you not talk so loud? I was sleeping here ya know." murmured Illy, half asleep.
Eragon jumped for joy. "Illy!!! Your alright!!!" he yelled, jumping and hugging her furiously.
Laughing, he snuggled her. "Man, you scared me there for a moment little sis!"
Illyria smiled and yawned. "Thanks for saving me Eri." she said, blushing slightly.

Stuffing his hands back into his pockets, Eriol shrugged. "Hey, I'd never've heard the end of it if I didn't. But... I guess I'm glad ye're okay too. It would've been really annoying if we had to carry ya all the way home."
What on earth was he going on about anyway? He turned away, casting his gaze down the road. "That lady said it was after midnight. So I think we should get going back to the library, whaddya say?"

Illy laughed. "Ya, let's go home before Buffy and DS beat us up!"
Eragon chuckled as he helped Illy up. "Nice warm bath... and waffles.... mmmm... last one there is a rotten egg!" he yelled, laughing. He began running towards the library, Illy close behind.

"Hey, wait up!" Eriol shouldered his backpack and dashed off behind them. "I'm gonna beat ya!"
"Buffy, I'm worried. They were supposed to be back three hours ago. Are you sure they're alright?" DS paced along the kitchen, arms folded, eyes filled with worry. "I just can't help but think something happened to them. Shpuldn't we go look for them now?"

Buffy laughed. "Nah, Eragon probably took them to go see some speeders or something and they decided to stay a wee bit longer. They should be home soo- *bang*n."
"Were home!!!" yelled Eragon. Illyris rushed through the kitchen door and attacked the fridge. "Man I'm starved!"
Buffy turned to her kids. "Did you guys have fun?"
Eragon winked at Eriol. "A blast mom, we had a funfilled adventure."

"Where have you been? You were supposed to be home hours ago! Why didn't you call, or send Spectra back, or-"
"Whoa, easy Mom! I'm sorry! We just... we were having so much fun, we just lost the time I guess." Winking back at Eragon, he flopped his bag on the floor and started to raid the cabinets. "Wow, I could eat an elephant!"
Smiling, DS patted Eriol on the shoulder. "I thought so. Still, be careful, and try to keep us in the loop, okay? We worry about you."
Eriol snorted and tossed a box of uncooked rice onto the floor. "Really? I hadn't noticed."
"Well now... with that kind of attitude, I guess you won't want any freshly made chocolate butter sandwiches?" She pointed to a plate on the coffee table with a wry grin.
"Oh wow! Thanks Mom!" Grabbing two pieces in each hand, he dashed to one of the back rooms. "Come on guys, let's go eat!"

Somewhere, not to near, rocked a chair as if on its own. "Stupid meedling boys and their girl. Ruined my plans." whispered someone. The chair flew backwards as an invisble force stood up from it. "They turned me into... this monster!" it yelled in rage.
An invisible hand lifted a vial from the nearby table. It crunched it in it's palm. The liquid drissled down the invisible hand, giving it some form. "They shall pay dearly..." the voice cackled evily. You could almost sense the man grinning. "No one crosses Abster and lives..."
