◈.................Naomi Ando.................◈"I want my voice to be heard... But only through chord and silent lyric can I truly express myself..." ♫The ivory felt smooth, yet heavy beneath Naomi's finger. However with the slightest touch, the key eased downward, letting out a single strum. From the key, a faint green light shimmered out of it, wavering through the air like a fledgling in flight. It wasn't until another note was played did the light grow brighter, joined by a pale purple light. Coalesced in a pretty harmony, it would be only moments later until many more colors would pervade the area, hazing the theater with rainbow colored wisps.
Naomi's eyes looked up as the colorful clouds danced in the air, changing color as more chords were heard until it glowed like a majestic aurora. Though the others in the theater couldn't see it, the music still tugged at their hearts. Some saw a delicate light painting a beautiful, lonely scene. Others could feel the emotions rile within their own spirits, one of contentment yet a mere quiet existence. Unknown to even herself, Naomi fused her heart into her music, sharing a small part of her mind to her hundreds of fans that stood in silent entrancement. Yet, even though surrounded by many, Naomi's eyes were intent upon the spectrum of colors that wove together in a brilliant aria of colors.
As the final note was played, Naomi's eyes looked up at the display of lights, watching them slowly fade into quiet repose. They left nothing but a mere memory, making the elated flight of her heart sink, as her ears were deaf to the sound of mighty applause. She just continued to search for any more lights that cared to linger, though none remained. An announcer entered the stage to denounce, along with two handsomely dressed men to help her off the stage. She had assistants for everything... It irked her spirits, being treated as if she were helpless. They gripped her hands and escorted her off the stage where there would bee the crew members smiling and clapping their hands.
Naomi's eyes looked down at their hands as brilliant waves of blue and green resonated out of their joined palms and the airy colors that was pushed out from their lips. Their words felt like nothing more than a blurt to her ears though she could see their well intentions. She would reply with a bow of her head and a short smile before she was escorted to her dressing room.
For a while Naomi sat in front of the vanity, looking at herself in the mirror, but seeing nothing there. She breathed a silent sigh, and stood up. She grabbed her long, black jacket and draped it over her shoulders over her black, frilled dress. She opened the door slightly, looking around to see if anyone was around. Typically, she was suppose to wait until the concert ended so that the audience had the opportunity to talk to them, sign autographs, or other silly things like that. Naomi just wanted out... Out of this place, and out of this 'world'. She didn't even know why she agreed to this little concert in the first place.
With no one in sight, she took off the first chance she had.
