The challenger had scouted Cain well before the match, and was prepared for the gogoplata attempt. He would use his arms to shove downward on the leg that Cain was trying to crush his throat with, his already damaged right leg, and quickly turned his head sideways and popped it out of the grip before the champ could get it locked in.

Major Devastation would try to hook the leg and use it to turn Cain over on to his stomach and attempt to lock in The Unforgiven.

Once Cain began to tap out and the final bell sounded, Major D. released the brutal submission hold. As he did so, Don't Tread On Me started blasting over the PA once again and red, white, and blue confetti poured from the rafters. When the referee handed him the belt and raised his hand high in the air, the Master of Disaster dropped to his knees and clutched the title to his chest with a huge smile plastered across his face.

"Here is your winner, and the NEW CWW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION...MAJOR DEVASTATION!!!"

The new champ would rise to his feet and cross the ring to where his opponent lie and offered to give him a hand back to his feet. It may have been a grueling match, but that was no excuse to not show some sportsmanship. "Helluva match there, Cain," he said as he extended his hand toward the former champ.
