Is it just me, or has it been since Enix took over Square Co.
the Final Fantasy games they've been pumping out one after
the other- they have depreciated in story quality?
Let me remind you, under the title 'Enix' the only Final Fantasy
games that have been released under their names are:
Final Fantasy 9
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Final Fantasy 7: Ac, DoC, CC (not the original Ff 7)
Final Fantasy X-2
Final Fantasy 11
Final Fantasy 12
Final Fantasy 13, Crystallis, Agito & Versus
In that list- the only good, worth playable FF games are
Crystal Chronicles & FF 9 in my opinion
I've played the other titles released under them- and I've come
to notice how I'm always a little disappointed in the end.
wishing it (storyline) were a little bit better.
But maybe I'm just living in the past of when great games were
actually created-and refuse to let go.
For those who don't see a difference, either the only FF game
you have played is FF7, then played the sequels, prequels to FF 7, oh and another thing,
I thought FF 7 was great, but apparently it wasn't all that good if it needed
so many sequels & prequels to follow up-to shine light on
more irrelevant characters and pointless parts in the story..
Or maybe I'm just mad that Enix only listens to it's FF 7 fanbase.
If you're wondering which Final Fantasy's were my favorite, it's
Final Fantasy 8 + Final Fantasy 9
the only thing Enix did for FF8 is make a FF character orgy game mixed with Disney + made Squall 4 years older than
Cloud, they changed his name to 'Leon' which is more than
aggrivating, and they changed his concept to his
first concepts of when FF 8 was first in production.. they shoulda
kept him the same 17 year old he was to begin with- They kept Cloud
the same 21 year old, with the gravity defying hair- that's a big WTF in Enix's part
Anyways- the essence has been truly lost in Final Fantasy games
today, there is no more epicness-storymode involved. Only; "Oooo pretty graphics"
That's my rant for today
thanks for listening
