I think it makes sense to have one. After all, science and philosophy do have to do with seeking truth... right?
Yes. Science can(and has proven)prove many things, making them more or less true. Philosophy can bring about ideas and theories, thus enacting as a conduit towards Truth. The combination of the two is fruitful as well.
Whether or not you have a decent argument to back it up is different and is where should draw a line. If you have an opinion that has no decent evidence or even a decent personal theory, don't post it. It will cut down on the "I'm right therefore you're wrong" mindset that is so often infesting these types of subjects.
Nonetheless, Mei just PMed me stating she'd make the Sub-Forum, but she doesn't want it to be a waste of money. So let's procreate positive discussion & excellent theories as we take steps towards Truth. Don't let this idea be for nothing.
