Can someone explain it to me a tad? Ive tried reading about it, and I tried playing (Im lvl 5 lul) but I still dont really get it..

Is it better to be in a group? What do I do? Ive never really been into mini games and activities so this is tricky for me to grasp. I was thinking of using my day off tomorrow to check it out some more.

No items needed, cept for the ring they give you.

Go into door.
Kill s**t.
Chop tree, fish fish, make runes.
Kill boss.
Leave door.
Repeat.

Ok are there any advantages to working on it other than to be better at it? Like will it help out any of my other skills and tasks.

Do you make more xp working in a group than alone?

I already knew what you said, but Im curious to why I should train it.

Basically, it's a minigame. As you progress and finish levels, you unlock floors and difficulties. At one point, with the difficulties, you can use all the skills. The lower skill level you choose, the more xp reduce you get, but the higher skill level, the more xp and skills you train.

Working alone is slower, but you get more xp. The upside to working in a group is it's faster.

Tbh, the only reason to train it is a bunch of xp at once, and it's not even all at once. : P If you are like me and get bored easily, Dungeoneering is probably not for you.

Working in a group gets you more XP... You get a modifier bonus for a group, the highest being a 5:5. The whole point is the fact that if it's a difficulty for 5 players, and 1 person leaves, it's more likely that you may not be able to finish the floor, or at the very least won't have access to all rooms.

Groups definately own solo. You get way more exp and get it done much faster. As for its uses in the rest of the world, theres the rewards which can be purchased from the guy next to the rings teleport location. Other then that there are also bonus room like things scattered around the world which contain many things to help in various skills. Just open the Dungeoneering guide and click on areas to see what/where they are.

Gem Bag - Good for Slayer tasks the drop lots of gems, like dusties.
Coal Bag - Good for power mining coal.
Scroll of Life - Very useful for Farming. You have a chance of regaining Tree seeds, herb seeds, and other seeds.
Bonecrusher - Very useful for Slayer tasks that drop normal bones, or even big bones.
Herbicide - Useful for Slayer tasks like Abby Specs.
Tome of Frost - Great for fighting fire monsters.
Anti-poison Totem - Would be nice to have if you're defence/armor is high enough that you don't need a shield.

And of course all the weapons and shields, which are pretty badass. Plus there are a few more scrolls that help with Prayer and give bonuses.
