Those who wish to voluntarily leave the Shadow Realm and once again enter the realm in which he or she was born must pass the test of the Guardian of the Shadow Gate. This test is a Duel, and to pass it the Guardian must be defeated by reducing his Life Points to 0. The Duel begins with the "Guardian of the Shadow Gate" card face-up on his side of the field, in Attack Position. The "Judgment of Heart" card is also Set facedown on his field. The Guardian does not Draw cards during his Draw Phase, and can only conduct his Stand-By Phase, Battle Phase, and End Phase. He has no Deck, only the two cards which he has. It is his duty to guard the gate to the Shadow Realm, and require those who wish to voluntarily leave to pass his test.

Guardian of the Shadow Gate
DARK Level 12 ATK0/DEF0 Fiend/Effect:
This card can’t be Normal Summoned or Set. If this card is in your graveyard or hand, or is removed from play, you can Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. The Special Summon of this card can’t be negated. This card’s Battle Position can’t be changed. This card can’t be destroyed by battle. The effects of this card can’t be negated. Any Battle Damage you would take from battles involving this card is inflicted to your opponent instead.

Judgment of Heart
Normal Trap Card
The activation and effect of this card can’t be negated. If this facedown card would be removed from the field by a card effect, you can reveal this facedown card to your opponent instead. Activate during your opponent’s Stand-By Phase. During the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, they must reveal 1 card in their hand. If it is a Monster card, remove it from play. If it is a Spell card, they must discard all Spell cards in their hand. If it is a Trap card, destroy all facedown cards they control. If they have no cards in their hand during the End Phase of the turn this card is activated, they lose the Duel. After the resolution of this card, Set this card.

A card set for one of my NPCs. It's supposed to be a challenge, not a cake walk. Bad guys can't just walk out as they please. Only by passing the test will they prove themselves worthy of entering the world again.
